Chapter 2: The Contract

The next day, Victoria spent most of her day sleeping, getting blood drawn, x-rays, and talking to the nurses that come in to check in on her. Everyone was talking about the guy that brought her to the hospital and how he saved her life. She couldn't remember him as her memory from yesterday was a bit foggy. She was grateful for the man that brought her to the hospital and she wanted to thank him but didn't know how to contact him and at that moment couldn't remember his name.

Later in the afternoon, Emily came to the hospital bringing clothes for Victoria to change into. She helped her get dressed and sit her back in bed " so I also went around your living room making it comfy for you and made sure you weren't going to run into any boxes or hurt yourself while you recover " " aww thanks Emily you know you really don't have to do all this for me. I can handle it myself " " girl no it is okay. Trust me I'm here to help you" " thanks and sorry I'm just not used to having help " " it's okay I was the same way for a while ". Emily then went into how she left her family after they were treating her horribly and Victoria shared the story about her mother. After they shared their stories the doctor came in to give Victoria the all clear to go home then Emily helps her up walking out with her to the car.

Back in town, Louis is meeting up with his media manager and they were talking about the events that happened yesterday. They were thinking that if Louis dates the woman he saved then it will put him on the headlines and more people would get excited for the new album. He honestly didn't wanna do it, but he thought about how Victoria wanted to be an actress so he thought this would help her get her acting career. He agreed to do that, but it had to be up to Victoria if she was okay with it then they can go through with it. They decided they will meet up tomorrow if she was up for it since she has been in the hospital.

That evening, Emily had just went to her house for the night and told Victoria she would be there to check up on her in the morning. Victoria was walking around her kitchen and getting herself something to drink while she started to get used to wearing a boot. The doctors said it wasn't too bad of a break but that she would be wearing the boot for a little while. while she got a drink from the fridge her phone rings and she walks over to the couch where her phone is. She picks it up seeing its not a number she knows but it had the area code for LA so she answers " hello?" she asked " hello is this miss Victoria Stevens?" the voice on the other end said " yes how can I help you? also how did you get my number?" " well I called the hospital to see if you were still there but the hospital said you were discharged today so I asked for your number. Now to why I'm calling.... I have a client who brought you to the hospital yesterday and I was wondering if you could come in for a meeting with me and my client?" " client? what are you some lawyer who is trying to sue me or something?" " no ma'am I'm a media manager for some well known celebrities here in LA. I help these people get the recognition they deserve and I believe I have something that will help both you and my client Louis Tomlinson" " oh um okay well I won't be in work for another few days so I'm free tomorrow " " Great how does eleven tomorrow sound? " "that sounds perfect" "alright and would you like for us to send a car to you for transportation?" "oh no you don't have to do that. I can get my neighbor to drive me " " you sure? we know you cant drive with the broken ankle and we are more than happy to send a car even Mr. Tomlinson insisted we send one out to you" Victoria smiled a little " um yeah sure that will work" she said and gives her the address to her house " alright miss Stevens I will have a car sent out tomorrow morning and it will be there around 10: 40" " Alright see you then" she hangs up and sighs a bit before she sets her phone down and picks up the remote putting on a show. she lays down as she watches tv then eventually she falls asleep.

The next day, Victoria woke up to her alarm. she turns it off and gets up going through the clothes Emily brought down for her while she slept in the living room until she was confident enough to walk up the stairs without causing more injury. Victoria pulled out a nice skirt and a sweater so she got changed before doing her hair and makeup. Once she was done she went to the living room to make herself a pot of coffee then she hears a knock on the door. She looked up at the time seeing it was only 10:25 " wow they're early" she said and grabs her purse thinking ' guess I will have to get coffee when I get back'. As she was getting one of her shoes on, Emily walks into the house " hey sorry for just walking in I didn't know if you were asleep or maybe in a different...room wow you look great. Where you off to?" Emily asked " oh it's okay and thank you I have a meeting with a media manager for one of her clients. she said it would help me and her client with recognition" " ah and your uber is almost here?" " oh no the manager has a car coming out since I have a broken ankle plus her client he insisted on it" " wow he must seem very caring who is this client and how did she end up contacting you? " well the guys name is Louis Tomlinson and it was from the accident apparently its all over social media" " um yeah Louis is the guy who was at the coffee shop with us " " oh okay well my memory from yesterday is still a bit of a blur so maybe when I see his face it will come back" " well I hope it turns out well" " thanks want a cup of coffee before I go I still got about 10-15 minutes " " yeah sure". They both sat down for coffee and talked a little to get to know each other more and once it got to 10:40, Emily was leaving for work and Victoria looks to see a car pull up and a man gets out walking up to her door " hello Miss Stevens I'm Larry your driver " " good morning nice to meet you " she said and walks with him to the car and he opens the door for her helping her in. The driver then gets into the car and starts to drive off to the office and once they get there he helps Victoria get out of the car and inside the building up to the office she's supposed to go for the meeting then he told her someone would be out for her then leaves. She sits down on one of the chairs as she waits then after a while a woman walks out of a hallway.
