We got to the beach in about twenty minutes. I was debating whether to tell Ray what happened, but I knew that would just end up in him wanting to punch the hell out of him.
I put on my bathing suit in the car, while Ray stood outside waiting. We didn't do the do yet, and I wasn't planning to. We only been dating for about a month. I'm not trying to rush things.
"Alright I'm ready!" I said while getting out the car. Ray had his swim trunks on (He had a pair in his car for such emergencies I'm guessing).
"You look so beautiful." Ray said to me. He grabbed my hand, and we started walking to the beach. Well to another part of the beach. A less secluded place I was seeing. That's when I saw candles from far.
"Um...Ray?" I looked up at him.
"Yeah babe?" He said smirking.
I playfully slapped his chest. "You had this planned out didn't you?"
He ignored me, and kept on smirking. When we got closer, I saw there was a blanket on the sand, with candles in front of it in a shape of a heart. There was also a picnic basket.
"You did all this for me?" I asked. I was surprised.
"Yeah I did. I really do like you Bre. It took you long to notice that, but it was worth it." He grabbed me up, and I wrapped my legs around him. He ran to the water with me in his arms.
"You're gonna drop me!!" I screamed at him. I held on tightly, my arms around his neck.
"Girl you finna choke the hell out of me if you don't stop that. I sing gonna drop you!" He assured.
I looked at him.
"Promise?" I pouted making my eyes bigger.
"I'm never letting you go." He whispered in my ear. He kissed my lips, biting my bottom lip to gain entrance to the rest of my mouth. I let him, and we started to kiss passionately.
When we finally stopped, he put me down, and started to look me up and down.
"Boy what?" I said smirking.
"You that's what. Damn Bre..." He said biting his lips.
"Well get ya head out of nasty land, cause you ain't getting this no time soon." I said laughing. He groaned, but nodded.
"I'll respect that."
"Good."
We went inside the water, and played around and all that good stuff. We finally got out when we saw the sun was setting. I grabbed a towel from the basket and dried myself up. Inside the basket was also sandwiches and soda. We watched the sunset while we ate.
"The colors...are so pretty." I said in awe.
"Just like you." He said poking my cheek.
"Corny much?" I rolled my eyes.
"And you love it." He said storking my hand with his thumb.
"I've fallen down...in love. And I don't care who knows about it. They can all go talk about how I...found love." He mumbled it under his breath but I still heard him.
"That sounded so good baby." I told him.
"Eh...just a little something something." He said smirking.
After we watched the sun go down, and finished our sandwiches, we blew out the candles, and put them in the basket. I folded up the blanket and towel and put it in the basket. After we were all set, we grabbed our stuff, and walked back to the car.
I put the stuff in the back of the car, and went inside the passenger seat. I stared up at the sky, admiring the moon.
"What's wrong baby?" He asked.
"Nothing. It's just...this is like a dream come true." I told him.
"Well I'm happy it came true and I was the one who made come true."
He squeezed my hand, and started up the car.
Back home we go...
