Hyunjin felt like a small-time celebrity, basking in the attention that flooded his phone screen. Everything had played out exactly how he'd hoped, and to top it all off, he'd posted a few pictures of Jisung on his socials—just to stir the pot.

"Omg, you guys are so cute together."
"Are you guys really dating?"
"You make the cutest pair!"
"Omg, spill the tea!"

Hyunjin was grinning at every comment, reading them out loud with glee, until Jisung shoved him back. He was being too much and he knew it. Did he care though? Not when Jisung looked like he was being grilled alive. "Are you going to keep reading those until I beg you to stop?"

Jisung looked like he was ready to combust from the heat of the chaos they'd caused, while Hyunjin was basking in the glory of it all. How could he not? It was so much fun.

"Will you actually start begging?" Hyunjin teased, eyes glinting as he noticed the blush creeping up Jisung's cheeks. It's not actually that bad to see Jisung beg him for once. Hrm, maybe his ego was getting a bit too high.

"You wish," Jisung snapped, crossing his arms. "I don't even get what's so exciting. We lied, they believed us, the end of the story."

Even if Jisung was pretending to be nonchalant, Hyunjin could see through him like a clear glass. Jisung was flustered, and he was determined to figure out why which was why he kept reading the comments. Was it the comments calling them cute? The ones asking if they were dating? No, it had to be something else.

Then, a lightbulb went off in Hyunjin's mind when he stumbled on a new batch of comments. "Your boyfriend is so cute and handsome," he read aloud, voice casual.
He glanced over at Jisung, who was now resting his chin on the table, clearly trying to act as though he wasn’t listening. "Oh, I didn't know we had another hottie in our faulty," Hyunjin continued, noting the flush on Jisung's cheeks growing darker.

"A pretty boy next to a pretty boy—" Before he could finish, Jisung slapped a hand over Hyunjin's mouth, his face now a deep shade of red as he turned away, burying himself into the table. "Stop it already."

Hyunjin mentally added a new note to his "Jisung's Weaknesses" file. Article 34 : Jisung takes heavy damage when complimented.

"If you beg," he taunted. Jisung didn't respond, glaring instead. Hyunjin smirked. "Your boyfriend is so cute—"

"Fine! I'll even pay you to shut up."

Hyunjin let out a suppressed snort of laughter. "So, when I call you stupid or ugly, you throw hands, but when people call you pretty that's what gets you going? Should you really be exposing such weaknesses around me?"

Jisung peeked up from behind his arms, rolling his eyes. "What are you even going to do with that information? Compliment me to death?"

Hyunjin knew Jisung believed he'd never say anything nice to him but now that he saw how weak Jisung was against it, he was starting to reconsider.

Jisung straightened, raising an eyebrow at the way Hyunjin kept staring. "What?"
Hyunjin tilted his head, pretending to ponder something deep. "You're actually… kinda soft-looking, aren't you?"

"The fuck do you mean by that?" Jisung shot back, clearly offended.

“I mean it in a good way,” Hyunjin replied, grin tugging at his lips. “Your eyes are round like boba, you know? They're pretty.” Maybe because Jisung was always glaring at him, he hadn’t noticed how rounded his eyes actually were. He found himself staring longer, searching for more details he might have missed. The way Jisung was biting his lips in defiance drew this perfect image of a small animal trying not to cry after being bullied too much.
