The bright green leaves swirled in the air, the wind singing an unrecognizable tune, animals scurrying around in search of their next meal. Soft green grass between my fingers as I gazed up, the clouds dancing along the clear sky.

Content with my rest I huffed before I rose to my feet, stretching slightly I began a slow paced walk taking in my surroundings once more before I let the shift compel my body, the familiar feel of bones cracking and twisting along with the churning of muscles, it happened quickly before I landed with a light thud and shook out my cream coat before letting my wolf have control.

She ran happily threw the quiet forest before the smell of smoke and blood invaded our senses, creeping closer towards the smell we were met by the sight of a pack destroying another, wolves rolled around the clearing, limbs flying everywhere either connected to a body or not. Blood stained the coats of the innocent, I gulped which seemed to draw attention to myself as my wolf paced in my mind I blocked her out searching for the eyes that were searing into the side of my skull all of a sudden Green eyes barred into mine, lust and desire swirling within them as the toned man absentmindedly ordered his pack around, his bright orbs never left my grey ones as the battle continued around him. My wolf took control as We ran straight into the wolf while I was throwing insults here and there, I glanced back checking to see if he-or anyone for that matter- had tried attacking me, directing my attention back infront of me I had no time to stop as my body flew back as the large wolf snarled at me. I shook my head before taking a few steps back and growling, as I did so his scent invaded my senses- apples and spice. Soon the wolf was dead in front of me as my mates wolf stood protectively in front of us.

My wolf purred as the wolf before us shifted before our eyes, I quickly projected my gaze else where as he slid shorts on, finally deciding to check my mate out my eyes lifted as I took in his toned arms and chest my eyes stopped wandering as he cleared his throat. "don't ever do that again." I stared in shock at my mate, I just fucking saved his life I snarled at him unhappy with his words.

He threw a shirt at me instructing me to shift, I narrowed my eyes and did a small circle silently telling him to turn around after he had pulled us further into the forest the battle seemingly over now, he rolled his eyes and turned I shifted quickly my bones cracking to replace my wolf form with me, I pulled the shirt on his scent instantly surrounding me, my wolf purred loudly as she attempted to connect with his wolf. I ran my hand through my hair a few times attempting to tame it slightly before I coughed and he turned back around.

He shamelessly examined my body, a cautious look covering his eyes, I cleared my throat bringing his attention back to me, my eyes met his green guarded ones before he took 1-2-3 steps towards me and towers over my average height, he inhaled deeply before his eyes glazed over and he turned on his heel walking away.

My wolf let out a Yelp in my head, not helping the already forming head ache, what was his problem? He just voluntarily walked away from his mate, who is unmarked and free for any males to get their paws on (pun not intended) I was scared out of my thoughts as a hand landed on my arm.

A tall man with blonde hair and a straight face nodded at me before speaking

"Alpha instructed me to take you to his house."

My persistent wolf begging on the inside pushed forward forcing my head to nod as the man nodded and led the way. Damn dog.
