The sound of a sharp Riiing! Riiing! Riiing! made me lazily blink the sleep from my eyes, as I let out a low groan and raised my arm which seemed to weigh about a hundred pounds and slammed it against the alarm clock, silencing it immediately. I ripped off the velvety, soft, purple hued sheets that seemed to trap me in bed. I pushed my feet into furry slippers and realized that they were a bit small for my feet. I would order some later. Besides, these slippers were already three weeks old, an I needed a new pair. I trudged down the stairs and sat down at my elegant table, as my mom served some cereal.
After chowing down some cereal, taking a shower, and putting on a gorgeous top with a skirt to match, I slipped into some high heels and drove with my mom to school. My entourage was waiting. As soon as I stepped out, I flashed a smile. Isabella and Mia shoved their way over to me, pushing a few people aside. "Mia! Isabella!" I cried, as if it had been forever. Mia pulled us aside and whispered loudly, "You know that girl Kara? She's wearing the same shoes as you, Arianna." My jaw dropped. "EXCUSE ME?!" My shoes were suppose to be one of a kind, and NO ONE was suppose to wear a pair ANYTHING like it. I was SEETHING! What if someone found out about this? What if Trinity found out? Trinity couldn't keep a secret! She'd tell EVERYONE! I had to do something before this ruined my reputation! "Where is she?" I demanded, my eyes blazing with cold fury. "Sh-she's by her locker."
I squinted, searching for the girl who had the same shoes as me. It took me a minute, but I found her by her locker, chatting with some other girl whose name I didn't know. I stormed over, shoving people who got in my way aside. Kara almost fell when she saw me coming at her. "Oh uh.. h-hi Arianna!" I glared at her, anger welling up inside me. Finally, I hinted her in. I dropped my head ever so slightly to stare at our matching high heels. "Wow, we're matching! It took me forever to save up to buy these. Twinsies!" Her voice was faltering, she knew I was steaming. Good. She'd know what was coming to her. I slapped her hard across the face, which caused her to fall. I ripped off those shoes, dangling them in front of her face before tossing them into the trash and watching tears flood her eyes.
The girl beside her ran, not wanting to be apart of it. Kara was sniffling and whimpering. I thought I saw someone look at us. I kicked her hard in the stomach, knocking the air out of her. That'll teach her, I thought to my self. I walked away, finding Mia and Bella. "Well? Did you give her a lesson?" I smirked, glancing over at a mortified Kara who had that girl back at her side, helping her up. "One that she won't forget." I answered, a grin of satisfaction my face as I thought back to the contorted expression of utter humiliation on her face. The bell rang. It was time for first period. I had to split up from my girls. Bella had chemistry, I had algebra 2, and Mia had P.E. Bella wore a nervous expression, and I could tell she felt bad for Kara. "Girl, you need to TOUGHEN UP." I said, no humor in my voice as I shot her a sidelong glance.
Mia was shifting uneasily, not liking how I just put both of them in an uncomfortable position. I glanced down and exhaled, fixing my mistake. "See you girls after first period!" I said, a grin on my face. I turned before either of them could reply. I took my seat in Algebra 2, not even listening to Mr. Wollers' lesson. Instead, I took out my notebook, ripped out a page and wrote: This paper is about as useful as you. I wish you I could throw YOU away. Then I crumbled it up and spit on it. I looked around the class, searching for someone to throw it at. Aha! I found Kara's friend who was helping her up. She was two rows to the right of me and three seats ahead from that spot. When Mr. Wollers wasn't looking, I whispered to her. "Psst! You!" She turned and right as she opened her mouth to talk, I aimed and fired! I hit her right in the nose! I almost laughed out loud. She rose her hand, sick to her stomach. Mr. Wollers turned, clearly irritated that the girl had interrupted his lesson. "Yes?" He said gruffly, shooting her a glare. "M-Mr. Wollers I need to go to the bathroom, its an emergency!" Everyone started laughing.
After a hilarious first period, I found David, one of the smartest of the kids in Algebra 2. "David. Why don't you do my homework? If you do, I'll consider asking Jenna to invite you to her party." David's jaw dropped. I felt kind today. Jenna's party's were always really fun, but they were also really cramped. Jenna invited WAY to many people, so basically half the school got in. But it was common she didn't select the nerds or geeks, they didn't even KNOW how to party. David was pausing, considering. I was confused. How could even THINK about declining? He saw my questioning look and quickly answered before I had to waste my breath. "Don't you remember, there's gonna be a math test that counts for 20% of our grade. I was thinking about studying that night.." I exhaled, and made sure my tone was clearly irritated. "Just study some other night. Its not like you have any plans." I said with a laugh.
When I saw he was going to reply, I rose my wrist and twisted my bracelets, I sign I was getting VERY steamed up and he could be in trouble. He immediately reconsidered, thought of a quick backup plan, and nodded. "Fine." I wore a smug expression on my face. I whipped my hair and walked away. The rest of the day was usual, boring classes, fun chats, humiliation of some, popularity of others. At the end of the school day, I met up with Jason, the hottest guy in school. "Hey you." I said with a smile, pushing a lock of my hair back. "Hi." He said, nervousness coating his voice. "Whats wrong?" I said, wrinkling my brow. "Arianna, the spark between us is kinda gone. We aren't the BIGGEST couple. And, your popularity is going down. Your not the hottest girl anymore. I'm moving on. This is getting old. Maybe we can still be friends?" I was still taking this in. NO ONE dumped me! I was glued to my spot, frozen. Don't cry, Don't cry, Don't cry! I thought to myself, forcing a wicked smile.
"Know what, I'm fine. You're right. We aren't the next big thing anymore. But you will REGRET this. I was eventually going to dump you. But now that YOU had to make the first move and basically RUIN my social life, I'm doing the same thing." I let the words hang, glaring. How could he DO this!? We were MEANT TO BE! People were going to gossip about this 24/7. I wouldn't be the prettiest anymore, even though every curve in my body, every OUNCE of fat and skin, is PERFECT. This was social humiliation! Social torment! He would pay for this. He would REGRET THIS. I stared up at him, fuming. "You think you can socially torment me? Just WATCH what I can do." I exhaled and slapped him across the face, my hand hitting hard against his smooth skin. The people who were watching gasped and then there was hushed whispers and mutters. One person took a picture. Another was taking a video.
I didn't care. It would humiliate him more then me. I just flashed my smile and walked off, kicking my high heel into Jason's head, causing him more pain. "This will be like taking a nap on a cloud compared to what I'm gonna do." I turned and strutted off, getting into my car and driving off.
