Krystal did not even know what happened. She just heard a swoosh and then someone said, "Miss Kim, our boss would like to invite you over for a chat."
Next up, before she could even answer, she was seized into the car before it swiftly drove away from the carpark.
She struggled, but the two men who held her locked onto her tightly, so she could barely move about. As loud as she yelled, the car was soundproofed well, hence even if she screamed till she lost her voice, no one would be able to hear her.
"Let me go! Let me go! Who are you!? Let me go! Ah! Ah!"
Krystal struggled like a mad woman. Her screeches could almost rupture one's eardrums. Nonetheless, the black-clothed men with shades held her down impatiently. Then, one of them slapped her, and the angry imprint of a palm immediately appeared on Krystal's face. Abruptly, the screeches stopped.
"Miss Kim, my advice is for you to behave so you will avoid anymore physical suffering. You will meet our boss!" insisted the man apathetically, and Krystal finally shut up. She dared not make any more noise because she knew that even she did, she would not be able to escape, so she might as well meet their so-called boss.
The car made many turns, and after passing through a very narrow alley, they reached a slum area. After going around the slum and driving much further away, there was a large, shabby, abandoned factory. The car slowly came to a halt in front of the factory.
"Get down!"
The car had just stopped when they dragged Krystal out. Struggling, she followed the black-clothed men straight up to the second-floor balcony. With the dim lights, she could see a cold and distant figure by the railings from afar. Just from that back alone, she felt an indescribable feeling of infatuation as she could almost immediately recognize who that was!
Lisa Manoban!
That God-like man!
That person who could only be seen from afar and not up close!
The reason Yueying was in its state today was all because of him!
Krystal really did not understand why someone like him would fancy someone like Jennie. That witch Jennie really lucked out!
Then, she looked back at herself!
The more she thought about it, the angrier she felt!
Even so, she did not resent this man one bit. The person she resented with a vengeance was Jennie!
Krystal stopped walking and stared at that figure for quite a while before slowly walking over.
Lisa could obviously hear the footsteps that came from behind. He was casually looking downwards at the moment while he playfully rolled a freshly lit cigarette between his fingers.
Krystal could faintly smell the cigarette smell in the air as she walked over quietly and stopped behind Lisa.
"Long time no see, Miss Kim."
Lisa did not turn back to glance at her. He just took a puff, his deep and calm voice sounding as still as the water, devoid of any emotion.
"Chairman Manoban, it's you!" Krystal softly cried out. Her voice trembled slightly. When she got closer to this man, she felt uneasy. Suddenly, she remembered that news from this morning and she immediately felt delighted!
Jennie deserved it!
She had a man like Lisa, yet she still messed around. Now, she had caused an uproar. Everyone knew that Jennie had had an affair and cheated on Lisa! The newspaper really wrote it marvelously. Today, she even heard her company employees secretly cursing her for being a fickle woman!
Krystal finally felt better at these thoughts. Hesitating, she could guess that this man had come looking for her because of Jennie. When she thought about the witch, a smile flashed across Krystal's sweet-tempered face instantly. "Chairman Manoban, it seems like you know about the witch, Jennie's scandal too? Let me tell you. She's met Jisoo from long ago. Back then, the family wanted her to marry Jisoo, and she pretended to be all high and mighty. Ha, now she ended up having an affair with Jisoo. She's like that! She's a fickle and extremely disgusting woman! You have all been cheated by her! Didn't she use to love Kai to death? In the end, she found you instead, kicking Kai aside immediately. Now, it's Jisoo. Chairman Manoban, I think you should be very clear about that slut's morals now!"
Krystal was very smug. Jennie had dug her own grave, and she did not mind adding fuel to fire as long as Jennie would suffer. In fact, Krystal would feel much better. She could care less about her image as she continued to curse her by calling her a 'slut'.
"She just wanted to use you to take revenge on me, Chairman Manoban. This woman is evil and scheming. Her bitchy capabilities grow with each passing day. I hope you won't be confused and cheated by her too!"
When she saw that Lisa did not say anything, Krystal continued again, "How dare she think of competing with me with those morals of her?! Delusional! I'll always be one step ahead of her! She pretends to be all noble. Who does she think she is?! Why does she always think that she's rightfully the princess? I'm the real princess. She's just an annoying slut and a pitiful creature!"
Krystal was really having a ball cursing her. Compared to her current situation, there was nothing that could make her happier. It would not be long before Jennie was kicked out of the Manoban family with her current scandal!
Because of her giddy excitement, she was in a state of madness.
That was no wonder either. She had been busy working recently, and after being provoked by Kai, before returning home to see Chaerin in her sorry state, she had become quite sinister and even found it hard to control herself.
Sadly, this was all her own wishful thinking.
After her mad sneering, Lisa finally turned around coldly. His eyes were as still as a lake as he calmly looked at Krystal. "Don't compare yourself to her. The two of you are incomparable."
His deep voice brought a hint of indescribable hostility. "I thought that after so many times, you'd at least know how to exercise restraint and be more self-aware."
Lisa's tone was eerily calm while his cold gaze seemed a little casual, yet Krystal could vaguely feel a chill start to spread from behind. She could not help but take a few steps back.
His gaze locked onto Krystal as his handsome face flashed with bitterness. "Who took the pictures of Kai and Jennie by the riverside that day?"
