Hello, and welcome to the universe that I live in.

My name is Irida Rosta N. and I will be accompanying you in the next few moments of your life.

For those who come back here again, welcome back.

And, for those who is here for the first time, please go to where I shared a story about warm ice cream.

As for those who doesn't come back... Oh well... I can only lift my shoulders up and shrug them off.

They are probably too busy trying to figure out who I am from the previous story involving that detective.

Anyway, I'm going to share with you the next story now.

Since chronologically this is the seventh story and seven is often associated with luck and wealth in a lot of stories, I'm going to share a story with a gold in it.

After all, gold is also often associated with luck and wealth.

So, without any further ado, let me share you the next story.

***Story 007***

***Golden Dragon Bridge***

In my village, there was a famous spot called Golden Dragon Bridge. Just as the name implied, it was a bridge, a suspension bridge to be precise, with a gold color that was located above the widest river that had a strong current in the village. According to legend, the bridge was actually made out of a real dragon scale. In actuality though, it was just a wooden bridge covered in gold-colored paint. Well... it still didn't stop old and some young people from believing that the bridge was actually made from a dragon scale though.

"Let's search for the Golden Dragon!"

My female childhood friend who was one year older than me suddenly barged into my room and shouted that. She was one of the young people who still believed that the Golden Dragon was real. Actually, scratch that. She was the only girl in her second year of high school in my village who still believed that any fantastical and mythical being to exist. It was quite unfortunate to be honest since she had a really attractive appearance like that of an actress.

"You know that the Golden Dragon is not real, right?" I stopped reading my recently bought romcom novel and asked back, "It is just legend spread to invite tourists to see that suspension bridge."

"So?"

She tilted her head slightly like it was not her concern at all. The way she did it was kind of cute though.

"So, it is not real." I said, "The Golden Dragon is just a myth. A legend. It is not real."

"Says who?" She still denied me apparently, "Listen up. A famous person once says that this universe is full of mysteries. Therefore, you shouldn't just assume that the Golden Dragon doesn't exist at all. You don't have the proof."

"Well... That's true, but..."

She sure gave me quite the trouble. After all, how in the world was I going to have a proof, let alone proving, that something didn't exist?

"That's why, let's search for the Golden Dragon now!"

"Fine." I scratched my head, giving up, "I will accompany you for a while. But only for a while, okay?"

My childhood friend smiled. It seemed she was happy with me tagging along in her search for the Golden Dragon. Well, it wasn't like I have anything better to do, so I was fine with it.

"So," I followed her, "Where are we going to search for this Golden Dragon?"

"Near the Golden Dragon Bridge obviously." She replied while still walking, "Don't you know? In the legend, the Golden Dragon descend on the night of full moon to give its scales to the people in our village. Tonight is full moon, so I'm sure it is going to descend tonight too."
