Chapter.12 hurt and new enemy

Romeo laughs that Nick is going crazy looking for her. Romeo goes to his boss Melvine and tells him all about Nick's father and what he did. Then. but they are a big business it will be hard to take them down, but they can fuck with nicks life. First, they have to get the information. Melvine would like to meet eve. 3 days later they met him. And he is like a father figure. She meets John. Melvine right hand men. He is like an older brother to all of his men. Even though he is in his 40s. John gives Eve a phone and money so she can go home. But she said she is scared to go back because of Nick. her sister will be in danger too. John is mad that Nick is going after her sister. Eve tells John all that happened to her. Now he is even more mad. And will help her.

Eve is trying to remember Damian's number. But nothing. So, she called Rosemary's number. She did not pick up, but she called again and again. Then Otis answered the call.

Otis - why are you calling this number, it's my little sis. I will kill you.

Eve - it's eve

Otis - what.

Eve - I am eve.

Otis - are you ok. Where are you now? Tell me.

Eve - with Melvine's group. They saved me from nick. He kidnapped me and threatened my sister. And hold me in a penthouse for months. Now he is looking for me. Make sure the rosemary is safe.

But the day before the meeting Nick knocks on Romeo's house door. He demanded Eve and came with the police. The chief of police, sir, we need to talk to Miss bell. Romeo said yes but he needed to be far away from her. They take him to one of the cars to cool off. He went to get her. She is on the phone with rosemary. He interrupts her, the police are here to see you. She looked at him. She said Rosemary, go get Damian now. run. Rose, ok. They walk to the door to see the chief. Romeo walked away. Chief, hello miss bell. You can call me bill.

Chief bill - so that men nick said that they kidnap you and hold you hostage. He wants 160 million dollars for you.

Romeo grabbed Eve and gave her back to Damian and looked at Nick, No. Nick punched Romeo. He went down. Two officers run to stop Nick then bang. Eve saw a gun when Nick punched. Then she uses the self-defense moves that Chloe showed her. knocking down Damian and taking the shot in her stomach. She passed out from the pain. The two officers take Nick away. There was an ambulance already here. They took her with Damian. Otis talks to Romeo and chief bill.

Damian looked pale and said nothing. He felt like he was in a tunnel. Carter is the one to talk to the doctor. Lincoln and Melvine's made sure Nick did not go near the hospital. Due to his brother, he was let go. But he is not allowed to come to the city. 6 hours later Eve is out of surgery. She is in a private room. But Damian is out of it. All tried to make him snap out of it but nothing. Zyla, I got something but. They all look at her.

Otis - but what.

Zyla - with a smile, it's a little evil.

Otis - will it kill him.

Zyla - no, but it will fuck with his nose for a while and ours.

In a light she is gone.

Hours go by and still no Zyla. Then someone comes in. hello my name is Leon there was an... Something bad happened. So Zyla said for me to wake him up. But the smell is bad. Otis, Zyla send you? It's just funny. The vial is swamp ogre sweat. This will snap him out of it. He takes the vial and puts the vial next to his nose. Damian jumps out of the chair and hits the wall. The wall has a hole in it. The doctors are mad that they did that. Eve had to be put in a new room because of the smell and the hole.

Nick's brothers' home

Daniel is calling people and sending email. Elian runs into the room,

Elian - ok. Here is the information that you need.

Daniel - that little shit got arrested if it wasn't for dad. He will be in prison. But now I have a lot of reporters. Then dad is now pissed about it all.

Elian - he said for you to dill with it or you are not the right fit for the business leader or CEO. I tuned him out.

Daniel is thinking.

Elian - don't tell me you are going after him. If you are. I heard that they are working with a bigger group. The word is bigger group.

Daniel - damn it

A person walks in. all in black Tuxedo Suit. with a big octopus's hairpin. They look at a woman that looks in her 40 or 45.

Daniel - and you are.

Elian - how did you get in here?

Her - you can call me umbra. And I'm not telling. Or I have to kill you. We don't need that. But we can make a contract or a deal. It's up to you. If we do, I can help. She has a big smile.

Daniel - I will listen to you. So go on.

Elian - what bro are you mad. We don't know about this person. Why?

He looked at Elain with an angry look. Umbra looked at him too with a smirk.

Umbra - will i have some men that can help but if you use them. You can't tell no one. And I need Damian and Eve alive. The men can help you put Damian in prison for life. With that you can be a hero that gets rid of that group. But?

Umbra - for you to sign a contract with me. If Both of you fail, you belong to me.

Daniel - yes.

She turns to walk out the door. At the door she said in a slow voice dammit. Daniel is thinking. Elian gets up and follows her, but she closes the door. When he opens it, she is gone. Looking down the hall nothing and looking at the other nothing. Look back at his brother with a pale face.

I need to think. go get the security video to see where she went. Now go.
