chapter. 13 the person called the red lady

5 days later Eve woke up and is talking now. Rosemary ran in the room. Look Eve, we got you flowers. And Otis took me to see mom. Mom is good, I think. Eve helps Rosemary with her homework then Carter takes her home.

Otis - eve, it's about your mom. She is getting out in two days, but they said she can't go near rosemary. For now, and no calls or letters. So, no contact. The family that put your mom in prison. Is a pain in the ass.

Eve - can't I visit my mom.

Otis - it said you too. Because of rosemary.

Eve - when can we.

Otis - never again. But we are trying.

Eve - was it him that did it.

Otis - no. It's the boss and soon to be CEO. Nick's older brother. But hmmm I don't know. We needed to talk to Zyla, but something happened. It's been 5 or 6 days.

Damian - 6 days. And nothing. Eve. We need to put you and Rosemary on house arrest for now.

Otis - what happened.

Damian - some new men that are working with Nick's brothers. Some of our men are dead because of them. And the home I gave you. It's gone, they blew it up. The others weren't in the home, but it's gone.

Eve - my books.

Damian - ...... really.

Otis - I saw that coming.

Damian - I just can't.

Eve laughs.

Lincoln - sorry to interrupt but the house you are going to is Arthur's. And you are going today. The doctor said no but we are moving you now. Nick and those men are on the move. But we need to move fast now. I called Zyla and max. Zyla can't help but Max, River and Merlin. Zyla said good luck with merlin?

Otis - he talks a lot. I sat with him and Carter for 5 hours. None stop. But then Rosemary came in and they talked for another 7 hours.

Damian and Lincoln just look at each other in worry. Max and River Walk in, to take off all the tubes off of eve and then the computer. Max said the need to go now, the two men are magic.

The doctor comes in. Doc, you can't take her because she is not healed. Lincoln, there are two men coming to kill her. We need to leave now. Doc, I need to protect the other people here. go now. But she will need a doctor to look after her. Damian, we know. We have people. Max, we need to go now. They take Eve to the parking lot. And right at the exit there are the two men. each one of the men's eyes glowed. Then water shroud the car. The water breaks the windows and pulls Eve out of the car. Damian tries to hold on, but they take her. With the water they are gone. Damian gets angry. takes it out on the car.

In front of Eve is nick. His two brothers and a woman. The woman looked at Daniel. We need to talk now. They leave to talk. Nick takes Eve to a room with Elian. Eve sees a judge held hostage. Nick said you are going to marry us now. Eve kicks Nick and runs in pain. Elian runs after her with some of his men. Then she goes down the hallway and makes it outside by jumping out the window. runs into the garden. She ran for a while and saw an opening. She sees a big field. She looked down to see her t-shirt red with blood and pain. Fall to her knees. Hello, it looks like you are dying. Can I have your body when you're dead? Eve looks up and sees a man. Who are you? The man they call me the shadow man.

She started to lose her vision. But then vines started to go after the shadow man. Attacking him. But hands came out of his shadow and stopped the vines. He keeps up with the vines. due to the hands and then the person controlling the vine throws a box. And card men came out. The shadow man shouts the red queen. She says, they call me the red lady now. But I owe her a favor. So, the girl is coming with me. She shouts CARDS, OFF WITH HIS HEAD. The card men run after him. She takes Eve and leaves. Leaving the fate of the shadow men to the cards.

The Red lady's home

Eve wakes up in a bed with some doctors at her side. She looks around. And here is the red lady talking to some doctors. Then she looks at eve. Walking to her and putting her hand on her eyes and saying go to sleep. That is the last thing Eve sees. One month has passed. Eve wakes up to see an empty room. She gets up and looks in the mirror to look at the bullet hole. It looks healed. Then a knock on the door. The door opens here is the red lady. The red lady tells her to go back to bed. Eve goes back to the bed and the red lady goes to sit on the chair next to the bed. Red lady tells her that her wound is ok, but you need bed rest and some other things. The red lady got up. She did the same thing and Eve fell asleep. 10 days later. The red lady did not show up for 2 days. So, Eve walks out the room and explores the big mansion. Going room to room. Until she got to a door with cards, red roses, white roses, chess pieces and pocket watches on it. And at the bottom of the door is a small door. She just looks at it. gets a weird feeling and something is calling her in. she goes inside. looks around the room. She sees a desk, a heart chair and floor to ceiling in red. But over the fireplace is a portrait of a girl with blonde hair. She looked at it. as If it's like calling for her. She goes to touch it. But she is stopped.

Red lady - isn't it beautiful. The girl sitting on the mushroom drinking her tea.

Eve - why is it calling me.

Red lady - eve sit on the couch now

Eve did what she was told. The red lady walks to the portrait and looks at it.

Eve - so what is it?

Red lady - do you know who I am? I Am the red queen. That says off with your head.

Eve - wait. Is that Alice?

Red lady - yes.

Eve - but why.

Red lady - wonderland is a dream world that Alice made. Made from her madness. Made with the madness of others too. We the people of wonderland get our power from her. So, my power is from her madness. So, when I found her, I put her in that portrait. Now she is my power source. Or you can say she is my battery. Oh, and all the others are in their own portrait. And the jabberwocky is in his portrait, but I can call him anytime.

She turned around to face the fireplace. Then she started to change and turn red. She became a rose monster. Her legs became a big red rose and the rest for her looked like a rose but still had the form of a human. big sharp teeth with a smile. No eyes, ears, nose, and hair. just her mouth. Then she moved closer to eve.

Red lady - if you tell anyone what I told you I will kill you. Got it.

Eve - yes.

The red lady transforms back and tells Eve to go back to bed. And don't go looking around again. What Eve did not know is that the red lady is taking her madness too.
