Part 22

Jaden's POV:

I go into the bathroom when we get back and jump in to have a shower quickly and get ready for bed as it was pretty late. I hear the TV get turned on so assume Ophelia has put something on to watch. Once I finish drying my hair with a towel I throw on some pj shorts and open the door to see she has fallen asleep and decide to throw on a hoodie and head down to the laundry to wash her top for her. 

I take the elevator down to the second floor where the laundry is and throw it in for a quick wash which takes about 10 minutes then throw it in the dryer waiting for it to dry then I head back up to our room and fold her top up nicely in her bag before jumping into bed next to her pulling her close to me before falling asleep. 

Ophelia's POV:

I wake up the next morning to my alarm going off and hit snooze before deciding to check my post I put up yesterday and scroll through the comments replying to a few. After 15 minutes I decide to wake Jay up as we have to be down in the lobby in an hour so I shake him awake and smile when he opens his eyes. 

"Morning Jay" I say. "Morning bubs" he replies in his morning voice that I love hearing. "Just wanted to get you up cause we gotta be down in the lobby in an hour" I tell him and he nods and pulls me down so my head is on his chest before grabbing one of my legs and pulling it over his waist so we're cuddling again. 

"Jay while I want to stay cuddling you I gotta get ready" I say giggling and go to push on his chest to sit up but he wraps his arms around me pulling me into him so I can't get up. "Nope you're staying right here" he replies shaking his head and we both end up laughing heaps. "Fine five more minutes but then you better help me with my hair mister" I tell him looking up at his face. "Yay" he says smiling and it makes me laugh because he looks like a little kid. 

We lay there in each others arms and I watch the Tik Toks on his phone with him before realising its been 15 minutes so I lightly tap on his chest and say "it's been more than five minutes time to get up" and push on his chest which he reluctantly lets me go so I go into the bathroom to brush my teeth and then go to my bag to pick out an outfit which I choose a light blue flowy dress and some white sandals before going into the bathroom to change. Once I leave the bathroom after putting on the dress I see Jay has gotten dressed and is sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for me with my straightener which makes me smile and I go sit on the ground between his legs. 

He straightens all my hair for me while I do my make up which helps us leave in time to make it down to the lobby right on the time we were told. "We're here" I say walking over to everyone which makes them laugh. "Do we need to tell y'all an earlier time so you guys get here on time?" Bryce asks jokingly and everyone laughs. "What do y'all get up to?" Josh asks waggling his eyebrows and I slap his arm and pretend to get annoyed with him. 

"We get ready dumb dumb" I say and poke out my tongue at him. "Hm if you say so" he says laughing and then runs when I go to slap him again which makes me laugh. "Alright kids let's go so we're not late" Bryce says shaking his head and we all head to the party bus to drive to the venue. It takes about 25 minutes to get there and then we head inside and grab some food before heading to the morning breafing with all the influencers and creators that had been invited. 

The briefing takes half an hour then we head to our first room for the meet and greets and there's already hundreds of fans lining up and they all start screaming when we walk in so I instinctively grab Jay's hand because it scares me and then we head to a booth that's for us and our first fan comes up. 

"OMG hi I love both of your content so much" a teen girl says and I smile and hug her. "Thank you so much you're so sweet" I say. Then the photographer gets us to stand together and do a photo before we say bye to her. 

We spend about 2 hours at the meet and greet before we have a break to grab something to eat then head backstage with Josh and Ness to go on stage for our stage interview. "I'm nervous Jay it sounds like there's heaps of people out there" I say pulling on his arm stopping walking. "Don't worry just look at Dan (the guy asking the questions) if you don't want to look at all the people out there. I don't even know if we will be able to see them because there's so many lights on the stage" he replies and grabs my face and gives me a kiss on the forehead and I smile at him the continue walking to side stage. 

"Alright help me welcome Jaden, Josh, Nessa and Ophelia" Dan says into the microphone and the crowd starts cheering and clapping as we go sit on the couches and wave out to the audience. 

"So Josh and Nessa how did you manage through Covid?" Dan asks. "Well we talked everyday multiple times and as soon as I could fly back to LA I came to the house and saw everyone which was good. But it was also good spending time with family" Nessa answers into her microphone. "Good good. So Jaden and Ophelia the fans have noticed you posting each other more, anything you want to say on that?" Dan asks us and I nudge Jay so he can answer because I don't know what to say. "Uh yeah so we've just decided that we'll spend time together and see where it goes, she's an amazing girl and we all love having her around the house definitely kept us sane during lockdown" Jay says which makes us all laugh at his last bit. "So we'll be seeing a bit more of both of you then?" Dan asks and we nod. 

"Any plans Ophelia?" Dan asks me. "Uh not really just posting different things when I can and there is a tour starting next week in Canada that I'm going on with Sway that will be through America if anyone wants to buy tickets to that" I reply as I got confirmation from my manager that I was allowed to talk about that. "Awesome! But nothing else planned as of yet?" He asks and I shake my head. 

"Alright should we head into some questions from the fans?" Dan asks and the crowd goes wild. "First question is for all of you, how do you find being in the public eye?" Dan asks. "It is a big change from everyday life but you get used to it and learn to block out some comments that are posted" Josh replies. "I agree with that but also you learn best from mistakes like we've all made them at some point even before being in the public eye, it is just like there is so many people watching and waiting for your downfall to then use that to start some rumour or something but then something else will happen and everyone gets over whatever you did and focuses on that" Nessa adds. 

"I'm still new to the spotlight and have an amazing support system in the house to help me with any questions so my main advice would be to have a secure support system to rely on during tough times but to also share milestones with" I add. "I have gotten used to the fact that you just have to ignore most the stuff people say because there's only so much you can defend yourself and the true fans and people around you will be the ones you wanna keep close" Jay finishes off with. 

"Amazing words there. Now there's a couple more questions then we'll go into a dance off for the most recent dance trends" Dan says into the microphone before asking us the questions. Some were just for one or two of us then the others were group questions. After that we all got up off the couches and did the dance off which Nessa won as I wasn't familiar with the dances but the boys did really well. After that we filmed a Tik Tok with the crowd before exiting the stage and going to lunch with everyone.
