Danielle Pov:

"The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?" I heard Haerin say. I nodded to her words, but something felt weird.

'The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?' I swear I heard that phrase before. I just can't remember what it meant.

But it's okay, I'll remember it somehow soon. Right?

"It's as beautiful as you."

I muttered to myself, but I think she heard me.

"Excuse me?" She asked as if she didn't believe what she was hearing. "It's nothing!" I quickly defended myself.

That slip up almost ruined me..

"Well, I hope you enjoyed today, I tried making it good." Haerin said out of the blue, switching the topic. I'm glad she did.

"It's not just good. It's amazing." I shared my point of view. "You know, you don't have to lie."

Huh??? What is this girl talking about? This looks absolutely amazing, and she's saying I'm lying???

"I'm really not lying, I love it, really." I tried to convince her, but she didn't seem to budge. "No need to lie, by the way."

"You have such low self-esteem.." I sighed. "That's quite something from you." She said, which made me realise my words.

I slapped my hand over my mouth, quickly trying to take my words back, "Wait, I didn't mean it that way!" I explained. She didn't seem to mind, though.

"I'm not offended, don't worry." She says, giving me some sort of relief. "Alright.. if you say so."

There was a moment of silence before we heard vibrations. It was coming from someone's phone, not mine, for all I know.

Haerin put her hand in her pocket, gripping her phone before putting it up to her ear. She excused herself before walking away.

I turned back to the view before thinking for a while. Suddenly, something hit me.

Not literally, but you know, when did Haerin just excuse herself from people? Whenever I see her talking to Hyein and she'd get a call, she'd just walk away.

Maybe I'm just being WAYYY to observant. I shouldn't even overthink it that much. Maybe she's just informal with Hyein cause she's her sister. Just maybe.

I snapped back to reality when I heard loud noises, but it wasn't clear. It was someone yelling over the phone, Haerin didn't even look bothered about it, too.

I tried somehow to try to eavesdrop somehow, but all I heard was the sound of a grown woman basically rapping.

I couldn't make out the words, so I gave up. Why am I being nosy anyway? It's none of my business.

"Ah well, I have to go now. Hyein snitched on me for something." Hyein??? Out of all the people, Hyein would be the one wanting us to stay here for long.

I checked my phone, '11:27PM'. How long have we been out here? "It's alright, it's late anyway." I told her.

She nodded before waving me goodbye. Before she left my sight, I called out to her, "Wait, Haerin!"

She turned around to face me. God, she's so pretty, I swear she's just the embodiment of-

OK, NEVERMIND. Focus Danielle.

"Who's gonna, uhm.. clean this all up?" I asked until she replied a few seconds after.

"I'll call someone clean it up." She said before actually leaving. Well, I guess that's it.
