J-Hope's search culminated in a dingy warehouse on the outskirts.
He burst in, eyes scanning for Sun-hee.
The kidnapper sneered, Sun-hee battered and bruised beside him.
"Kneel," the kidnapper ordered J-Hope.
J-Hope's gaze locked onto Sun-hee.
"I'll do anything," he pleaded.
The kidnapper laughed, dragging Sun-hee to her feet.
"Torture her," he ordered his men.
J-Hope's eyes widened in horror as Sun-hee cried out.
With a fierce roar, J-Hope charged.
Just as all seemed lost, Taehyung burst in with reinforcements.
"Take them down!" Taehyung shouted.
The kidnapper's men fell.
J-Hope rushed to Sun-hee, cradling her battered form.
"Sun-hee, I'm so sorry," he whispered.
Sun-hee's eyes fluttered open.
J-Hope's tears fell onto her face.
"Why did you come?" she asked.
J-Hope's voice trembled.
"Can't lose you."
Sun-hee's gaze softened.
For the first time, she saw J-Hope's vulnerability.
Her heart skipped a beat.
As Taehyung's men secured the area, J-Hope swept Sun-hee into his arms.
"Hospital," he ordered.
In the ambulance, Sun-hee's hand found J-Hope's.
"Thank you," she whispered.
J-Hope's eyes closed, relief washing over him.
