"At the ghats of Banaras,
where the Ganga flows endlessly,
it feels as if destiny waits quietly, weaving together souls
that are meant to meet,
like the river meeting the shore."

Nine Years Later, Banaras, India:-

As the first light of dawn came through the thin curtains, a young, beautiful girl began to wake up from her sleep.

The soft warmth of spring touched her skin and gently woke her. Her eyes slowly opened and revealed a gaze as deep and lovely as the morning sky.

A soft breeze carried the sweet smell of blooming flowers through the open window and made the light curtains flutter.

Her hair which was smooth like silk, spread across the pillow like a dark halo and was standing out against the soft colors around her.

As she sat up, the sunlight touched her skin and showed the delicate features of her young face and the light natural blush on her cheeks.

She stretched gracefully, like a flower opening its petals to welcome the day, with every movement full of natural grace.

The world outside was just as beautiful. The trees were covered in fresh, green leaves, and colorful flowers were brightening the landscape.

Birds sang happy songs to greet the new day, while the grass was covered in dew, sparkling like tiny diamonds.

It was a morning full of hope and new beginnings, a perfect scene for such a radiant soul to wake up to.

She glanced at the clock and her eyes widened in shock. Without wasting a second, she quickly dialed a number.

"Aunty! Are you ready? I'm so late. I'm really sorry. My alarm didn’t go off—don’t even ask! My phone was in silent mode. I’m going to take a bath now. Meet downstairs in ten minutes", She said all in one breath before rushing to the washroom for a quick shower.

She stepped into the shower and the cool water splashed over her, washing away the odd-come-short of sleep.

She quickly lathered her hair and scrubbed her skin, all the while her heart was racing against the clock as she knew she needed to hurry.

After a few minutes, she turned off the water and wrapped herself in a soft towel. She hurriedly dried her hair.

Today was an important day and she couldn’t afford to be late.

In her bedroom, she quickly wore a  vibrant Indian umbrella dress (Salwar suit) and the colors of her clothes brightened her mood.

She glanced in the mirror and checked her reflection, and quickly applied some light makeup to enhance her natural beauty. Her eyes were filled with thick black kohl, earrings dangled on her ears.
