Two boys playing pretend
The troubled one was bound
The meek one was a friend
Seek and it shall be found
Let's play pretend
Only for a while
Let's play pretend
Put on a smile
Come out and play
You like what you see?
What do you say?
Please set me free
Rocky hummed a tune and quoted the poem that was fitting for his current situation. He was tied up to a wooden chair, his ankles were bound to the front legs of the chair while his wrists were tied together behind his back.
Nothing that he couldn't handle.
After all, he had been an escapist during his time at the circus thanks to his string bean physique. His cousin was aware of this fact and chose to tighten the bonds for good measure. Rocky had been rather naughty as of late—burning private property, breaking and entering, aiding and abetting, vandalism, exhibitionism. Not to mention backtalking a police officer—very naughty indeed.
Rocky leered at Freckle as he attempted to bribe him with having a good time. He didn't want to admit it but he liked seeing his baby-faced cousin dressed in a uniform. Freckle had a fiery look in his eyes that made Rocky bite his bottom lip suggestively.
“Don't look at me like that, Rickaby!” Freckle spoke in an authoritive tone (which was rare) but Rocky didn't mind. The wee lad needed to start somewhere if it came down to interrogating a potential enemy.
