Eiichi's POV

The moment Chiyabashira-sensei steps out after informing us about the upcoming second welcome ceremony, the room straight-up explodes. And now everyone is dead. The end.

Just kidding. Everyone is talking at once, like a dam's just been blown wide open. The buzz is infectious. People shouting about what they're gonna do with 100,000 points, hands waving around like they're already buying stuff with it.

Student 1: "Dude, I'm getting the latest phone! You know, the one with the insane AI camera. I'm gonna be snapping pics all day!"

His voice booms, as if this singular moment defines his future, and for him, it might as well.

Student 2: "Please, phones are overrated. I'm decking myself out in designer everything. Gucci, Louis, you name it! No more of this basic stuff."

She's practically sparkling with excitement, already imagining the high-end outfits that will elevate her above the rest.

Suddenly, pockets of friends start to form, turning into buzzing hives of conversation, their gestures growing bigger as their dreams expand. Hands fly into the air as if they're grabbing hold of invisible treasures. Every student seems to have their own wild ambition, and nobody's holding back anymore.

Student 3: "I'm building a gaming rig that'll blow anything else out of the water!"

The shout feels like a battle cry, as if claiming the ultimate gaming setup will crown him king of the digital world.

Student 4: "You're all thinking too small. I'm talking food. The gourmet kind. That French bistro in Keyaki Mall? I'll be there every weekend. Heck, maybe I'll rent out the whole place!"

There's a hungry glint in his eyes, as if he's already tasting the luxury and planning his reign as a culinary king.

Student 5: "What about knowledge, though? I'm buying every rare book I can find. I'm talking leather-bound, first editions. Gonna start a whole library."

Her voice cut through the noise, quieter but filling with conviction. In the frenzy of material desires, she is aiming for something deeper, something lasting.

And then the noise swells even louder. Laughter, shouts, and the sounds of desks scraping the floor all blend into an overwhelming symphony of ambition and desire. It's like a mini carnival in here, and you can almost see the yen signs flashing in everyone's eyes.

Me? I'm caught in the wave of excitement too. I start picturing all the cool stuff I could get. Gaming consoles, food from the gourmet restaurants, maybe even a fancy guitar to show off a little. For a second, I almost feel like a king.

But then I glance over at Kiyotaka.

He's just sitting there. Completely unfazed. While everyone's losing their minds, he's like this unmovable rock in the middle of the chaos. No smile, no excitement, nothing. It's like he doesn't care. I lean in closer, my curiosity getting the best of me.

Eiichi: "Hey, Ayanokouji-kun. You're not excited at all? Come on, 100,000 points! We could do anything. Buy whatever we want. What's your plan?"

I started, nudging him a little. He barely reacts. His eyes stay glued forward, no hint of enthusiasm anywhere. It's like I'm talking to a statue.

Kiyotaka: "Not really thinking about it."

He finally said, voice flat as ever. I blink, genuinely thrown off.
