you wake up in your bed covered in sweat you shoot up trying to catch your breath "mom" you whisper to yourself feeling tears form in your eyes you look around trying to catch your breath recounting your dream of you following your mom out of the door and into the woods for her to disappear Infront of you, you throw your sheets off of your lap and get out of your bed and walk toward your door you open it and walk out and down the hall toward the bathroom and you walk inside and close the door behind you as you turn to look at yourself in the mirror you see how wild you look you roll your eyes as you start to brush your teeth and wash your face you walk over to the toilet and sit down after a minute of sitting there thinking you get up and wipe and flush and walking toward the door and walking out into the hallway as you walk back toward your room you see mike walking out of his with only pajama pants and no shirt while his hair is all messy you feel your face heat up thankfully your black so you don't blush you walk past him and you walk into your room to start getting ready to go to the pool you put on your swim suit and you style your hair and you walk out of your room and downstairs to the phone to call lucas to see when they are planning to leave you make it downstairs and you see karen and your father in the kitchen talking and smiling "y/n" you hear your father call out to you "yes dad" you say grabbing the phone "what are you wearing" he asks you "a swimsuit obviously" you say "okay but why" he asks "me and the party are going to the pool" you say looking at him "you didn't ask me could you go" he says with a stern tone "and you didn't ask me if i wanted to move but you did that anyway" you say annoyed "im the parent and what i do with our family id my business and does not need to be discussed with a child" he says "and im y/n your daughter and what i do with my friends is my business  and doesn't need to be discussed with a lying abuser" you say while venom laced your voice and now no one is smiling and for a second it feels like the world froze and the earth came to a hult until you heard mikes voice "what's going on" he asked looking at you all "nothing when are we leaving" you ask him "I'm a few Lucas and Dustin are waiting for will and el to get ready" he says smirking at you "okay" you say with a smile as you walk into the living room to sit down and wait for your friends to arrive.

you're watching tv then you hear a sudden knock on the door so you get up and open it to see lucas standing there in swim trunks and a tank top on 'damn' you think to yourself "oh hey y/n you look... cool" he says looking behind you and you turn to see your dad looking mean you roll your eyes and call out for mike to hurry up "bye dad" you say as you walk with lucas to his car with mike trailing behind you both "hey why is your dad so mad" he said locking the door behind himself "because i told him off" you say walking down the drive way to the car you open the door and sit down and Dustin calls your name "yes dustin" you say looking back "i like your swim suit" he says with a smile "thank you" you say as both lucas and mike get into the car "okay everyone strapped in" lucas says looking in the rearview mirror "YES" everyone said in unison making him nod as he backed out of your driveway and into the street "mike" you hear a voice call out so you look into the rearview to see who called him "yeah" he said looking out the window "i just wanted to apologize to both you and y/n for causing so many problems and i don't want us to break up i really do love you and im willing to forgive you both for messing around behind my back" el says looking at him "really" he says now looking at her "yes mike" she says looking him in the eyes "im sorry for cheating on you and being a jerk" he says as they both lean in and kiss each other 'god does he not know what he wants' you think now feeling your eyes start to burn so you look out of your window getting lost in your thoughts when all of a sudden you feel a hand on your thigh making you jolt out of your thoughts and look at your leg then up the arm "what are you doing" you mouth to lucas who has a sly smirk on his face "shhh" he mouths back so you just stare at the road trying to ignore his hand which was dangerously close to you know what. soon you guys arrive to the pool and lucas finds a parking spot and you all get out and you start walking away fast from the party "hey y/n wait up" mike yells out but you just look back and roll your eyes but then you bump into someone "ahh" you yelp as you land on your ass "shit are you alright" you hear a familiar voice "oh h-hey b-billy" you say looking at max's incredibility hot step brother "oh hey kid" he said helping you up "nice uh hairstyle" he says "thanks"
