413th loop. He didn't even know how he kept track.

413 times he defeated the Ink Demon, but instead of being null to it like all other factors hes been doing over and over, he's been being more guilty. Guilty that he can't stop this for everyone trapped in this gloomy pit of what once a lively studio.

He so desperately wanted a change.

He watched for the 413th time that the ink beast disintegrated.

.

An apartment flashed to life around him. Colors he would always forget existed because of the black and musty yellow he's almost always been surrounded in. He wished he could stay here forever.

Henry walked straight ahead over to the same stool he would sit everytime. Exploring the apartment didn't matter; he already knows everything in it.

"Henry? So soon?"

And just like all the other times, he became irritated with the voice of someone who betrayed the entire studio. Joey, always having his back to Henry. Filthy.

"I didn't expect you for another hour yet. Now you're just trying to impress me."

Henry was stuck facing his head towards Joey. His elbows layed on the cold counter that make them ick. He couldn't move his head or hands. He can't even speak.

He wanted to fight back. He wanted to explode at Joey. 'Traitor.' He thought, wanting to spit out his thoughts.

"I know... I know... you have questions. You always do!"

'Oh, shut up!' Henry started to shake. It hurt, to try and fight something invincible and invisible.

"The only important question is this: Who are we, Henry? I thought I knew who I was... but... the success starved me."

"Ofcourse it did you bastard!" He finally barked out.

Joey froze.

Henry felt the invisible force slowly climb off of him like it was having him on a chokehold but then giving up.

"Henry!-"

Henry slammed his fist on the table, effectively shutting Joey up, "You ruined their lives!"

Joey turned his head solemnly. "Henry.-"

"413 loops! That's how much this has been happening! You made this... disaster of a 'wonder' all because I left!" Henry backed away to the door, face bunched together with wrinkles.

Joey scoffed, "Now, Henry, maybe you're overreacting!-"

Henry opened the door, glaring at him with a dissapointed look, "Overreacting my ass. This all happened because of your obsession with power and me. Why should it be me who has to deal with this!? You're pathetic, you goddamn mistake." And he slammed the door behind him.

Back to square one, for the 414th time.
