The First Meet.!

    Sandhya's eyes were filled with tears of emotion as she read her mother's old diary. The diary, from her childhood, brought back vivid memories of her late mother. Sandhya hugged Vijay, expressing her gratitude for unearthing this precious keepsake. Vijay was overjoyed to see Sandhya's happiness. He suggested her to take a leave from work to celebrate her birthday together. However, Sandhya declined, explaining that she had an urgent surgical procedure to attend to at the hospital.

    Vijay was disappointed that Sandhya would not be able to spend time together. Despite her absence, he invited her to meet up later in the evening for dinner in their favorite place. Sandhya agreed and left for the hospital. As she arrived at the hospital, her colleagues were unaware that it was her birthday. Even Sandhya herself hadn't anticipated any special celebrations.

    As Sandhya entered the patient ward, she noticed a group of people gathered around a patient. Rushing over to investigate, she saw a unknown person attempting to stabilizing a patient in critical condition. Sandhya immediately approached him and said,

    Sandhya: "Excuse me, sir. I believe you may be treating the patient without a proper assessment of their condition. Please step aside while we evaluate the situation."

    Unknown Person: "Just give me a moment, please."

    Sandhya: "I'm afraid I'll lose my job if you continue treating the patient without proper authorization. Please step aside, and I'll take care of them."

    Unknown Person: "I've stabilized the patient. You can assess their condition now, ma'am."

    A doctor approached the scene to investigate the commotion. Upon seeing the unknown person, the doctor greeted him warmly and escorted him to his office. Sandhya was astonished that the doctor would welcome the person without addressing the urgent situation. Despite her confusion, she took care of the patient, administering necessary medications.

    Sandhya remained perplexed that no one had questioned the unknown person's actions. As she continued to care for the patient, the person approached her, wearing a white coat and stethoscope.

    Deepak: Hi! I'm Deepak, a new junior doctor.

    Sandhya: I apologize, sir. I didn't recognize you as you're in casual attire, and I haven't seen you at the hospital before.

    Deepak: I'm impressed with how you handled the situation, refusing to let an unqualified person treat the patient and promptly taking charge.

    Sandhya: Thank you, doctor! By the way, I'm Sandhya, a nurse at this hospital. It's a pleasure to meet you.

    Deepak: It was a pleasure meeting you. You're the only person I know in this hospital at the moment. Let's keep in touch.

    Sandhya felt guilt for treating Deepak such a way during his first day. As she entered the operating room for an important procedure, she was surprised to see Deepak present. She inquired with the senior nurse how a new doctor could be involved in such a critical case on his first day. The nurse explained that Deepak was a highly talented and respected doctor, known for his expertise. The chief doctor had invited him to observe the operation as a learning opportunity, emphasizing that he would not be performing any procedures.

    Deepak was elated to see Sandhya in the operating room and attempted to engage in conversation. However, due to the presence of senior doctors, he decided to remain quiet. As the operation commenced, Deepak closely observed the proceedings, paying attention to Sandhya's actions too. During a brief pause, Deepak asked Sandhya for advice on exploring the city as a newcomer. Sandhya apologized, explaining that she was extremely busy that evening and unable to show him around. She needed to rush to another work. Deepak persisted, suggesting that she can take him to her destination, promising to join her. Sandhya, feeling obligated as a colleague, reluctantly agreed, despite her confusion.

    They went to the restaurant. Vijay was already waiting for Sandhya. He was surprised to see Deepak with her.
