PREVIOUSLY BEFORE JAMES RAN OUT.........
THIRD PERSON POV
The team stood in the medical room, waiting for Bruce to give them the results. "So, did the results come back yet?" Clint asked Bruce as he stared at them. "They did last week," Bruce replied. They all stared at him, confused.
"So why are you only telling us now?" Wanda asked, looking confused. "Because I ran it more than once," Bruce replied. The team was now even more puzzled. "Why?" Natasha asked, confused. Bruce let out a sigh before speaking.
"I couldn't believe the results I was getting, so I ran it twice just to be sure. And you know what? Aurelia's biological parents are Bucky and Nat," Bruce revealed, causing a stunned silence to fall over the room.
Natasha couldn't believe her ears. "That's not possible, I can't have kids," she exclaimed. Bruce's words hit her like a ton of bricks. "That's what I thought too, but I kept rerunning the test, and the same results kept coming back. She is 100% biologically yours," he told her. Natasha was speechless, trying to process the overwhelming news.
"Barnes, what do you have to say?" Tony asked Bucky. "I always thought of Aurelia as my daughter, and finding out she's my biological daughter I'm speechless but how? How did she even come? Me and Nat weren't ever alone together." Bucky told them.
In 2004, you came to the red room, and I remember that. There are months from 2005 that I can't recall, but I do remember hearing the girls talk about the winter soldier being there," Natasha shared with him as he remained silent. "Drayko must've wiped your memory," Clint spoke up.
"Hydra's interest in her makes perfect sense now. She was trained like a Black Widow and was on her way to becoming another Winter Soldier until we intervened," Tony connected the dots. "It's all coming together now. She was important to them because of you two," Steve added, realization dawning.
Bucky was startled by the sound of Aurelia crying. Without hesitation, he declared, "I'm going to go check on her!" and strode off before anyone could respond.
BACK TO THE PRESENT.....
"Did you know she was our child?" Natasha asked her sister, her voice filled with a mix of sadness and longing. Yelena looked at her, confused, before realizing the weight of Natasha's words. "I had no idea," she replied softly, her heart aching for her sister's pain.
Yelena was visibly surprised. "Natasha, she was just a baby when she came to me, and Drayko asked me to take care of her. I never knew she was yours as well, but it all makes sense now that I see the resemblance between the three of you," she said, a hint of realization in her voice. Natasha let out a sigh, her expression reflecting a mix of emotions.
Pietro asked them all, 'What are we going to do now?' Steve responded, 'We can't send her away. She's attached to Bucky and Yelena, and besides, Natasha and Bucky are her parents, so we can't send her away unless they agree to it.' It's true that Aurelia has only really talked to Bucky and very little to the rest of the team.
"Bucky may not be ready to send her away," Steve said softly. "I don't know yet. She's still adjusting to everyone here, and she doesn't even know we're her parents." Natasha finally spoke, her voice filled with concern. "Aunt Lena, you've got to come look at my room!" Aurelia walked in with Bucky following closely behind her.
I see, Aurelia was beaming with joy as she nodded, her smile resembling Natasha's. The team couldn't help but notice the little resemblances to both parents. "It's so spacious, and I can even see over the entire city!" Aurelia expressed her excitement about her new room. "James even said I can decorate it too!
"You can consider it as your room!" Tony said to her as she looked at him. "I appreciate the room," Aurelia told him as he gazed at her. "No need to thank me, dear. You deserve your own space. Come on, let's go buy some things to make your room feel like home." Tony suggested as she glanced at Yelena.
"Go on," Yelena told her as she smiled at her. Tony and Aurelia both walked off together, Tony talking about stuff to buy for her room. "So, what are you two going to do?" Bruce asked Bucky and Natasha. It seems like something interesting is about to happen.
"First and foremost, she's going to stay here with us. She only trusts me and Yelena, and Aurelia believes they're still going to come after her. Sending her away would be a terrible decision. We'll figure out the rest later," Bucky explained, leaving them all shocked by his words.
"Seems like you've already thought this through," Wanda said as Bucky nodded. "The plan was to find her parents and then send her away, but I can't do it. She doesn't trust anyone, and sending her away would be a terrible decision. It was just a passing thought at first, but after today, I'm sure she's not leaving here." Steve smiled at his best friend, hearing how protective he'd become of Aurelia.
"Bucky had put a lot of thought into this," Pietro acknowledged. "It sounds like a good plan," he continued. "I'll order some pizza to celebrate." Wanda playfully nudged her twin. Bucky was certain that keeping his little girl with him was the best decision he had ever made, and he was determined to never let her go.
