Chapter 13

BUCKY JAMES BARNES

"Aurelia's okay, just a few stitches that's all." Yelena said coming back into the car. "Stitches! What happened is she okay?" I asked Yelena. "She fell and his her head on the edge in Tony's lab but Bruce stitched her she's okay, I talked to her."

"Why didn't you tell us!" Nat was upset at Yelena. "Because I knew you two would get upset and want to go back to the compound but we can't until this mission is done with." "Of course we're upset she had to get stitches!" Yelena rolled her eyes at Nat.

"But she's okay?" I asked her as she nodded her head. "She said she was okay and that she misses us." I smiled to myself. "As long as she's okay." Nat mumbled. I still haven't processed I have a daughter but knowing she's waiting for me to get back home makes me feel happy.

I am never going to let her out of my sight again, never thought I'd have kids and having Aurelia as my daughter just makes me so happy. I want to tell her soon that we're her parents after the missions I'm telling her because I can't wait any longer, having her there and she not knowing I'm her dad bothers me.

"I'm telling her once we get back." I told Nat looking at her as she looked at me. "You are?" I nodded my head as she let out sigh. "It's time we tell her she's been here almost a month already it's time she knows." I agree with her it's not right she doesn't know yet.

"About time you two tell her." Yelena mumbled as I rolled my eyes.

AURELIA NATALIE HEART

My head is throbbing right now because I fell and hit it on Uncle Tony's counter. I have to get five stitches on my forehead on my left side of my face.

"How are you feeling?" Steve asked me. "Just have a headache." He nodded his head. "I'll tell Bruce see if he can give you something for that okay?" I gave him a nod. "Thank you." I told him as he smiled at me.

"Are they coming back home now?" I asked about Yelena, James and Natasha. "Not yet little one." I let out a sigh. "I don't remember missions taking this long." I mumbled quietly but I guess he heard because he sat down in front of me.

"Our missions tend to take a little longer because we want to make sure we get the bad guy so they can never hurt someone again." He told me as I nodded my head. "I know I just miss them." He smiled at me. "I know what will cheer you up ice cream!" He told me.

"I don't know you'd have to ask James and Yelena first before I can have any." I told him as he gave me a nod. "How about we give them a call right now yeah?" I looked up at him. "Really?" "Yeah you can even ask yourself and talk to them?" I nodded my head as he pulled his phone and out and called James.

It rung once before James answered. "Everything okay is Aurelia okay?" James immediately asked as I looked at Steve as he gave me a nod as I began to speak. "Hi James!" I immediately said. "Hi little doll I heard what happened are you okay?"

I smiled to myself knowing he cares for me. "I'm fine my head hurts a little bit I had to get five stitches though." I told him. "I already texted Bruce about it he said he's going to get her something for the pain." Steve spoke before James could respond.

"When are you coming back already?" I asked James. "Soon okay, we'll be back soon." I let out a sigh. "Is Nat and Aunt Lena with you?" He let out a laugh. "Yeah they're right here with me let me put it on speaker." He said as I heard some shuffling before someone spoke. No

"Hi sweetheart." "Hi my love." Both aunt Lena and Natasha both said. "Are you okay?" Natasha asked me. "I'm okay, Bruce helped me." I told her. "And Wanda districted me from it!" I added because James knows I hate needles so much.

I heard Aunt Lena say they have to go now. "Wrist before you go can I ask you a question?" They all said in unison yes. "Can I have ice cream?" I heard James laugh. "Yes you can but not to much okay you'll hurt your stomach." James told me.

"Okay thank you come back soon please I miss you guys." I told them. "We will love." Natasha said as I smiled. "Bye James, Natasha and Aunt Lena." I said. "Bye little doll." "Bye sweetheart." "Bye my love." All three said bye then Steve hung up. "Come on let's go get you some ice cream!" He said.

I think Steve just really wants ice cream. But this is nice of him to do so I'm happy. I hope they come back soon.
