Kim Rock Soo had just woken up in a place and well almost unknown. The decor that seemed to come from a room reminded him of the descriptions of the fantasy novels he read on earth. His gaze ended up falling on a mirror further in the room, his reflection surprised him. Red hair, pale skin, if his body before was about 30 years old this one was surely not even 20 years old. He touched his face thinking he was dreaming but no he could feel the warm touch of his palm on his cheek. He raised his head towards the white ceiling sighing to his life. The sound of a door suddenly opening made him shudder.
A young man about his age with brown hair and glasses entered.
"Cale, what are you doing we have planned to go out today ?!"
He looked at him confused for a while, the young man remained silent waiting for an answer from him. "Damn it..." His mind had just realized why everything was familiar, the book he'd read, a fantasy novel, before falling asleep last night. The body he was currently using was a secondary character Cale Henituse a minor villain. The novel was full of wars and the young man didn't seem like a good character to survive...
"Young master Eric, please let him get dressed first, he had to stay up late helping the count." Cale Henituse's butler had just arrived, he wore a smile on his wrinkled face but a real smile not really fitting a bloodthirsty assassin like in the novel.
Ron helped him get dressed after sending the young master out, Cale didn't really react he was trying to understand what was going on, everything seemed so different from the book.
He then led him outside the bedroom into a large living room. Deruth Henituse was drinking tea with the young master from earlier.
"Hello Cale, I really shouldn't have given you so much work last night." He looked really pained and worried making Cale even more confused.
«What in this world is going on? Where is Cale Henituse's bad reputation and the people who didn't care about him?!»
As he thought about it many images crossed his mind, a destroyed Henituse county, a smiling white star, his family and friends dead...
Cale's expression went from confused to pale and then to simply blank.
Of course the people in the room with him saw it, Count Deruth was already about to get up to go towards him but they could see a red cloud appear around her body.
"Count, don't come any closer!" Ron pushed him away from Cale, quickly realizing what was happening.
«I swear I'm going to kill him!» His aura strengthened with his anger rising.
"Cale?"
He focused on his father's worried voice, he had to take several deep breaths to calm down.
"Yes."
"Are you okay?"
Good question, was he okay? No of course not, he was furious and wanted to kill someone, preferably that damn white star.
"Of course why?" Even his smile seemed twisted and unhinged how to appear normal when so many images of murder and destruction scroll through your head without your permission and without being able to stop it. He had just woken up as the god of death had promised and now had to learn to manage Record from his old world in this one and in another body. It was difficult, very difficult when a life of memories he would have liked to forget reappeared.
Because yes in his first life, the god of death and he had made a deal just before he died at the hand of the white star to bring him back and change everything. But the god had forgotten to tell him that he was going to live another life before coming back, a life of misery in a ruined land filled with monsters and that he was going to lose his family again. To finally arrive at his third life... Yeah he was furious, especially since the god had stolen his memories of his first life to give them back to him now. While he now had Record, it was great two lives of trauma accumulated without being able to forget.
