The soft chatter and clinging of cutlery could be heard all around me as I sat at the big round table that had about 8 seats. The seats were filled by middle-aged women and men dressed in black tuxedos and elegant dresses. I was probably the youngest here, age 22.

This dinner party was hosted by a well-known businessman, Arnold Cambridge. The rest of the people here are also either business people or somehow importantly connected to the business. I wasn't exactly someone important, yet.
You see my most recent project was quite successful and it benefited the company quite well, so the more powerful people like Arnold, saw the potential in me and decided to let me join these small gatherings and dinner parties where we would discuss casual things like the latest news, economics and who's yacht to use for the next mini holiday. Rich people stuff. The conversation would occasionally brush through business and work but it's mainly a casual atmosphere.

We were currently at a very famous luxurious restaurant in Paris that was owned by the world-famous and talented chef, Takahiro Jeong Moon. A Japanese young man in his 20s with a big and tall build, long silky-smooth navy blue hair, striking deep blue eyes, and pale skin. He had climbed up his way to the top quite quickly through cooking shows and series. The top chefs could immediately tell that he was on another level, and that he was. Within 2 years he managed to start his own 5-star restaurant that had 7 main locations all across the world: Japan - Tokyo, Italy - Rome and Milan, France - Paris, Brazil - Reo de Janeiro, America - New York, Germany - Berlin.

Takahiro was quite a busy man and he would travel every few weeks to the next location of his restaurant. Sometimes he would even show up unannounced which threw off the workers every time and made them more diligent and thorough, just in case the chef decided to pay an unexpected visit.

But the chef was also very well known for being polite and friendly. He was well-mannered and quite charming, bringing a light and comfortable atmosphere wherever he went. Fans love him for that and are always happy to meet and talk to him as he holds up his reputation for being friendly and charming. Not to mention he was quite good-looking. He had gotten the award for most attractive man in the world this year and his face has been on many perfume ads and a few times even on the cover of  VOUGE.
The man was practically perfect, and yet he was still single. Many high and low-status women have tried to win him over, or even get a date, but the man politely declined every time.

Arnold informed us that we were quite lucky to come to eat today as he heard that the chef had stopped by unannounced, which meant that with the supervision of the chef, the food on this day would be 10 times better than usual.

Now sitting at this table and eating his food I can confirm that it is indeed quite exquisite. My mind wandered, thinking about how nice it would be to wake up every day to have the best breakfast served by your perfect husband.
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a man's voice beside me. I looked up to see a waiter who was holding my plate, asking if I was finished. I nodded and watched as my empty plate was taken away. I adjusted my black full-coverage dress and leaned into my seat while looked around the exquisite ballroom where we were having our dinner, it was quite the sight to behold. (the dress is basically a long black dress with long sleeves and a turtle neck)
