The light flickers soft,
Through glass and dreams,
You hold my hand, we stand still
In the depths of the ocean's breath.
Above, the rays float like whispers,
They glide through the water, like time,
Slower, gentler, as if the world
Outside has forgotten us.
I see you through the reflections,
Your face aglow in the dancing light,
A calmness in your eyes
Like the quiet beneath the waves.
The manta ray soars like a silent thought,
Effortless, free, and I wonder—
Is love like this?
A vastness that holds us,
A current that we flow through
Without fear of the unknown below.
We drift between shadows of fish,
Silver scales flicker like forgotten stars,
And I think how sweet life tastes
In these moments, how soft the edges feel
When you're beside me.
The ocean has secrets,
But none as deep as the way you calm
The storm in me,
The way your presence is like the tide,
Constant, soothing, pulling me closer,
But never drowning.
You are the coral's bright color
In my once gray world,
A life teeming in places
I didn't think could grow again.
And as the sea creatures glide around us,
As silent as the love I can't always speak,
I know we're more than just visitors
In this underwater world.
We're part of it now,
Two hearts, like waves finding their rhythm,
At peace in the deep.
And here, where the ocean meets the sky,
I could live forever
In this calm,
In you.
