Finally landing in nice, Charles picked Elizabeth up for the airport and drove down to Monaco.

"how was the meeting?" Charles asked, He knew about the meeting but not what it was about and assumed it was a partnership or brand deal type thing. Elizabeth fidgeted with her hands. "Lizzy? you okay?" the concern in his voice made her look at him.

"if I tell you, you may have to sign an NDA." she muttered. The car came to an emergency stop.

"what did you do?" Charles asked unsurprised.

Offended Elizabeth "ME?! I'm helping YOUR friend get out of that dumpster fire of a reputation max got himself in." Charles jaw dropped.

"So you're going to be at every race now?" he smiled as it would be the first time in years his sister would be at all the races and not just Monaco.

"Yep" she smiled as she's glad he also see the upside of this whole situation. "you cant tell anyone though like no one can know its fake."

"I know." as they start to drive off again in comfortable silence.

Once they got to their apartment tower, they went their separate ways and said goodnight. Elizabeth entered her apartment she let go of a breath she didn't realize she was holding. flopping back onto her bed and picked up her notebook and read over the lyrics she wrote and changed someone and added to other.

its was about 9pm and she realized she needed food so she got up to the kitchen and grabbed a can from the fridge and began to make so food with music playing loudly in the background. until there was a knock on the door.

Elizabeth quickly walked to the door and open it to see her best friends face. "right what the fuck is going on? why did I hear from Alex that your in a PR relationship? huh?" Madeline asked as she entered the flat with a bottle of wine.

Madeline and Elizabeth have been friends since the day they met in the park. She also help Elizbeth get her management and her career still they were both under the same team. Maddie always help Lizzy feel better and Lizzy did the same for Maddie.

"First I don't even really know. Second why is Alex even telling you that?" Lizzy responded.

"I signed an NDA don't worry but Max Verstappen. damn. Wasn't he the one you had a crush when we were like 9?" Maddie laughed. Whilst Elizabeth groaned in embarrassment.

The girl sat, ate and drank wine for hours before falling asleep on the couch.

Elizabeth woke up first at around 10:30am and checked her phone a saw a text from an unknown number.

ill pick you up at 6pm.

be ready.

She quickly woke up Madeline and showed her the texts. "lets make you look hot." she winked. As Elizabeth laughed to hide her nerves. "You'll be fine. I'm only a text away." Maddie reassured her.

"okay." she breathed out.
