It was a few hours before the date, Elizabeth had showered whilst Madeline help choose an outfit for her. "Right Lizzy, red or black?" Maddie shouted from the bedroom.
"Black. classic." she yelled back whilst getting out of the shower. She dried off her body and put a matching set on per Maddie's request of 'what if you get lucky' then had a white dressing gown over her and walked into her bedroom. Hung on the door was a simple black dress that wasn't to over the top but not too under dress.
They played some play whilst Maddie dried Lizzy hair and then curled it slightly. Whilst Elizabeth did her makeup light with a little about of eyeliner and a deep red lip. She looked at the time and it was 5:30pm. Quickly Elizabeth put her dress on and then Maddie took some photos of her and claimed that Elizabeth was her masterpiece to instagram.

As she laughs with Maddie, a text pops up on her phone. "Mads can you read it please?" Lizzy said as she's deciding which perfume to wear.
Max: I'm here. hurry up.
"its max and you can hear his displeasure in the text god." Maddie says "ill tell him your ready." Lizzy gives Maddie a hug before leaving her apartment knowing Maddie will be there for a debrief about the date.
As she makes her way out of the front entrance, she sees max just leaning on his car on his phone. She'll be the first to admit he looked good in formal attire, a white button shirt tucked into some formal dress pants and a pair of nice shoes and a watch. "hello?" max said noticing her, "you ready?" she nodded and got into the passenger seat.
The silence was awkward so she decided to say something "you look nice." she says but he just ignores her and she scoffs.
They finally make it to the restaurant as they walk towards the entrance max hands his key to the valet and walks with Elizabeth side by side. Once they are seat the awkwardness starts again, the two only talk when the waiter asks for they order and if everything is okay.
"you realise we both have to try to make this work." she said playing with the spaghetti.
max just sighs and looks at her with cold eyes. it just his front. she breathes out slowly.
"lets just take the photos we need to and leave." he says pulling out his phone and then taking a picture which careful cut out her bod and only showed her arm. she then did the same and max asked for the bill one they finish their food and quickly walked out to the car and dropped her off without saying a word.
"How was it?" Maddie's says raising her eyebrows.
"shit he didn't even speak once and it he did it was about leaving or getting it over with." she slumped on the couch, "it hurts more knowing it not even a real date that he choose to act like that."
"its okay ill be there for the first race weekend so you not alone."
