Monoma's Badmouthing (Where's the Accountability?)

Something that's kinda been lingering on my mind for a bit (and I also could be wrong so just let me know lol)

- This has two main points in it:
My opinion on Monoma's badmouthing toward 1A
• My opinion on Monoma's consistency in trying to one-up class 1A and pointing out their attention they receive

TL;DR at the bottom

I feel like a lot of people forget Bakugo provoked the other classes in S2 and that Monoma wasn't the only one who had a negative reaction to that (even with Shinso calling them "delusional" (or at least from what I remember in the English dub), people still upset with them during the school festival and saying that they're full of themselves, etc.)

Yeah, Monoma might've blown things a bit out of proportion but also I feel like a lot of that was targeted more at Bakugo than just the entire class itself? It was Tetsutetsu who encountered Bakugo and the rest of the class, not Monoma. Monoma probably just didn't like what he was hearing, then pretty much had it confirmed in his face that Bakugo wasn't the nicest person.

Also Monoma being shocked that Bakugo protected Jiro I think? During their fights because the whole time he's just thought Bakugo was this excessively conceited and bad person. He's not shocked seeing the rest of the class help / protect each other, just Bakugo, so it kinda helped let us know Bakugo gave a really shitty first impression.

Of course, not saying Monoma is 100% right or wrong for how he reacted ('cause I kinda see his point). My only issue is that not only Monoma was offended by how Bakugo acted and yet he got the most hate for acting out when other people took things out on the entire class of 1A instead of just the person who was the problem to begin with (even when some of them were fully aware the rest of the class wasn't as rude), and again with Shinso calling the entire class delusional.

After the festival thing I feel like Monoma just took Bakugo's "I'm gonna win" as a competition to see who's class could be better and also just trying to find a place where 1B and other classes could also be recognized by fair terms and not just villain encounters, but that's how I see it.

Especially with the "as usual class 1A isn't happy unless they're the center of attention". It just felt really mocking like he was genuinely tired of seeing 1A get popular off of the fact they were attacked by villains or have encountered villains instead of actually having to work to be recognized like the rest of the classes are now having to do, which it's probably gonna be hard to try to one up that. The sarcasm in his tone when he said that also felt like a wake up call.

Him trying to one-up class A all the time just feels like him trying to prove that regardless of the villain attacks, regardless of who's did what more than the other, their classes are still equal. Now is it important Monoma learns the difference between attention and unwanted attention? Absolutely. But I do think he's on the right track; 1A isn't any stronger or weaker than 1B, and that was made painfully obvious in season five that the two classes are considerably on the same level, just more skilled in different areas, so I think his point stands.

- TL;DR:
I feel like Monoma is the only person held accountable for reacting badly to how Bakugo behaved and taking things out on him when other classes or students (Shinso) also reacted badly and went to badmouthing the entire class instead of just the person (Bakugo) who was being the problem. I also think Monoma's consistence in trying to one-up class 1A was because he felt like their attention wasn't deserved and unfair to other classes that worked their asses off to be noticed and recognized just to lose it because "1A's been attacked again!"
