PRANJAL'S POV:
"Delicious" I muttered under my breath. Wait! I didn't like kheer, did I? I thought Initially and looked at the small figure who is looking at me wide eyes,
Why am I drawing towards her so much? Even when she collided with me before the class I was so lost in her brown orbs that I almost forgot that I had class to attend and it's my first day. No doubt she is a major distraction. And right now I want my focus on only one thing that is studies, that will help me to become an officer, that I want to become from childhood,
I shook my head to let all the unhealthy thoughts go away from me but these thoughts are not leaving my mind, the moment when I told her that I am his friend because I didn't feel right when she was having lunch alone. I too eat my lunch alone but that's not the point, I do have habit since childhood but seeing her I can say that she is suffering from heartbreak and all I want to kill the person who broke her heart and made her-
"Where are you lost?" Bhumi asked as she took the last bite of her food, moving her small mouth which is filled with kheer puri, which is dripping from the corner of the mouth, 'she has no manners' I thought ' but you are finding it sexy, aren't you?' my mind said 'SHUT. UP.' I yelled at my mind
"Nothing" I said to bhumi who was still looking at me, "umm..Bhumi" I called her and she looked up. Without sharing the word she raised her eyebrows and hand me my tiffin box with an elegant smile on her face,
"Clean you face" I said, because if I touched her again and whipped of her face than might I will be distract again and I don't want this right now,
She looked at me and nodded and cleared her face with her hanky, and then smiled at me and said "thank you"
I shook my head and said "no need, Bhumi"
She smiled and again said "Thank you"
I squeezed my brows and said "I said-
"No it's not for that. I want to thank you for your lunch and thank you for eating with me. After a year I have eaten my food with someone and yeah it would be memorable for me" She said with gratitude and a smile,
"No need, Bhumi" I said, and taking my lunch box back, putting my box in my bag I looked at her who was lost somewhere, "let's go" I said snapping my fingers,
She looked at me with curiosity and said, "where?"
"Handwash"
"ohh , yes. Right"
~POV END~
After the lunch break when Bhumi and Pranjal were doing their work, most of the teachers were absent and those who were present were not taking class as they were busy in the preparation of the annual function.
Every year when the session ends, the school announces the Annual function, in which the mostly participants are from secondary classes except tenth and twelfth, because of their boards.
This year is the second last year of Bhumi and Pranjal as they both are in class 11th, maybe this is their second last year but it's the toughest year, these session ending exams will decide if you are capable of sitting in class 12th or not.
Bhumi is feeling scared because she thinks she is going to fail in class 11th, because she never listen to teacher but always scored good marks,
Thinking about all this she is scared because she is also the participant in an annual function, and due to this she has less time to study more syllabus.
She looked at Pranjal who is focusing on his books, revising the summary with great concentration. She didn't seem
right to disturb him and ask him to teach her some good and important points.
