Jasmine.

The sounds of the waters crashing into the sand was very peaceful for me at the moment. Every since that video was released, my life has been spiraling out of control. My manager released me from my contract, I lost the option of being the face for Ralph Lauren, and I also lost majority of my "friends". Bahja was the only one to hit me up and ask how I was doing, but everyone else wanted to know details as to what happened. They don't care that my career is ruined. All they care about is getting the full story.

August hasn't spoken to me since the video was released. In my opinion, our relationship is finished. There's no fixing it this time because every time it gets rough he always avoids me. If it has something to do with his image, I feel like he should just tell me. I would understand because with everything going on it could ruin his career too, but by avoiding someone that you claim to love and care about so much, doesn't make you look any better. It hurts but I just try not to think about it.

I moved back to Los Angeles with my family so I wouldn't have to deal with this situation alone. Thankfully, Donovan was able to rent out an apartment for us both. Donovan's been there for me to wipe away every tear and to give me empowering words. I don't know what I'd do without my best friend. I'm just really glad he didn't leave my side like others.

Standing from the sand, I dusted my behind from the residue on the ground while heading toward the rest of the land. The beach is where I go to think about everything and gain some type of peace. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing and vibrating in my hand. I lifted it and read the name Shay... Why is her number even saved in my phone? No, why isn't her number blocked? I rolled my eyes and hit decline. She probably wants to know details about the incident too. Even if all this wasn't going on, I wouldn't wanna talk to that back stabbing heffa. I still can't believe she traded me for Dominique and Rose. Rose may have apologized but I still don't trust her. I don't trust any of them and I wouldn't be surprised if August slept with any one of them or all of them by now.

I sighed in frustration while getting into my car. Everything and everyone is against me right now. I only have a handful of people still by my side and that's majority of my family. I'm pretty sure this video has embarrassed my parents, but at least they're still willing to deal with me. Starting up my car, I glanced into my rear view mirror, noticing an unfamiliar car parked directly behind mine. I groaned loudly before opening my door and stepping out of my car so I could see if someone was in that car. To my luck, there was a man asleep in his drivers seat. I tapped on the glass window to awake him. It took quite a minute before he tore from his slumber. I'm guessing he's a hard sleeper.

"Um, I'm parked right in front of you and I'm trying to leave. Can you please move your car," I asked in the politest way I could.

"I could, but I won't," he grumbled.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm guessing you don't want to have a car because I could reverse you and me out of these spaces. I have the money to fix my car. Now, do you?"

The old man chuckled. "Lady, get out of my face."

"You asked for it," I smiled before heading to my car.

Once I was inside, I quickly gripped the gear and put my car in reverse before stepping on the gas and pushing my way out of the parking lot. I may have ruined the back of my car, but hey, I needed to get home. I could hear the man yelling at me but I really did not care. He should've moved when I politely asked instead of him being an ass about it.

After twenty minutes of driving, I finally made it to Donovan and I's apartment. As I made it inside, I noticed it was pretty dark in the house. I furrowed my eyebrows together while reaching for the lights before a voice stopped me.

"Wait, don't turn them on yet," Donovan said aloud.

"Why not? You know I don't like the-"

Suddenly, I spark of light lit up the entire room. He had set up a candlelight dinner for us. There were rose petals trailing the floor. I smiled while dropping my bag on the ground.

"Don, you did all of this," I asked with a wide smile.

"Yeah. You deserve it after all the shit going down now. I won't be your date, but someone else will," he chuckled.

"Like who," I asked.

He smiled before making some weird noise. I furrowed my eyebrows together with a little chuckle escaping my lips before my jaw dropped when my date entered the room.

"Isaiah?"
