She avoided looking into the mirror over the mantle. You didn't have to see the sea to gauge its anger. Her ears told her all she needed to know.
Her eyes fell upon the wedding photo once more.
"You had the best years of me," she muttered.
She sighed.
"Anyway, they weren't all bad."
