KILLUA POV:

I was walking around town with my earbuds in my ears listening to music, ignoring my brother's calls that keep annoyingly interrupting me.

I stopped at a cross road and waited for the sign to go green.

I was too impatient, my mind was clouded with anger and I didn't notice the sign.

So  i walked across the street knowing it was still red, but i couldn't care less if I got hit by a car today.

Suddenly everything went in slow motion, as I was walking in the busy road, I heard faint car noises zoom pass me, some people from the other side telling me to get out the road but I didn't care.

That was until someone grabbed my arm and snapped me out of my thoughts, and I was suddenly flung on to the pavement. And the noises became loud again.

I just lied there flat on my face with a bored expression, I wasn't in pain...thanks to my 'training' but I bet I would have a few scratches from my skin hitting the hard concrete street. Who do I have to murder for interrupting me? I internally groan. I heard heavy panting next to me.

I sat up in one swift motion and looked at the person next to me.

It was a boy, he looked about my age (I'm 20), and he was on his knees panting. After a while of catching his breath he got up and dusted himself off, I noticed he's injured his knees, they were all scabbed and bleeding....was that from just now?

He groaned "oof...ow my knees , I'm definitely not use to this" he mumbled. What is he on about?

He noticed me looking at him with a ticked off expression and he pulled me up from the ground with a concerned look.

"You must be careful watching where you're going! You could have been killed!" He suddenly shouted at me. I was taken back.

I rolled my eyes.

"That was the point dumbass..." I said a bit quietly but he catched on.

"Sorry what?" He said confused.

Ahh...this boy is dense as a rock, I shouldn't waste my breath arguing with him. I sigh.

"Well anyway I should go now, no thank you for helping me" I said coldly and walked past him.

I then suddenly heard two footsteps running up towards me.

As they slowed down I turned my head around, i internally groan...why is this boy following me? And why is he not saying anything? This is awkward...

I stopped in my tracks, making him bash into my back.

"What do you want?" I snapped as I turned around towards him.

His face looked a bit taken back and concerned.

"I uhh-"

"Look if you don't have anything to say then please stop wasting my time , you've already done enough of it..." I said.

He looked to the floor with a sad pout.

"I'm sorry it's just.... I don't see why you would just throw away your life like that..." he said.

I blinked...ok....maybe he isn't so dense after all.

"You don't have to know" I muttered.

"But I want to!" He suddenly cried.

"H-huh? We barley know each other-"

"Then let me! Let me get to know you, let me help you. I want to help you" he took my hands with pleading eyes. Why was my face burning up?
