Recipe 5

Juvia wandered until she saw a glimpse of a building. She took off running and stopped abruptly when she saw an old run down diner.

"This is Jellal's Diner?!?" Juvia gasped as she walked inside. It looked even worst than the outside. She looked around, clutching the plate of cupcakes close to her chest.

"Hello? Who's there?" A young man emerged, him not being too much older than Juvia. He had similar blue hair with a dark red tattoo surrounding one of his eyes.

"Huh? What can I do for you?" He looked at Juvia puzzling, leaning against one of his walls.

"Please let Juvia work here!" She stuck out the plate of cupcakes and he took the frosting off of one and licked it off his fingers.

"Hmm.. Name?"

"Juvia Lockser"

"Age?"

"Uhm.. 17?"

"Boyfriend?" Jellal asked with a smirk that set Juvia's cheeks a-blazing.

"Er uh w-why is that necessary?" Juvia stammered awkwardly as Jellal chuckled.

"It's not, I'm teasing. You can start with the dishes in the back." Jellal said with a reassuring smile, pointing behind the counter. Juvia's jaw dropped when she saw the amount of dishes left for her to wash.

How do these even build up to this much?

Juvia tackled the mountain of dishes. She did it quickly, drying them and putting them where she thought they went. She slipped out of the kitchen to see someone with Jellal.

"How's Ultear? Is she doing alright?" Jellal sounded differently so Juvia snuck around the corner to listen. She saw a familiar color of hair and knew who was talking to Jellal.

Meredy sighed before responding, "She's doing fine but I'm scared. Old age might take her any day now."

"Ultear wouldn't want you to think about it like that." Jellal patted Meredy warmly. She giggled before sharing a hug with him.

"So how's school?"

"Cooking class is a fail. But I did make friends with the new girl! Have you heard of Juvia?"

"You mean that blue-haired girl that's washing my dishes?" Juvia took her cue to walk to them, a wide smile on her face.

"Meredy!" The girls shared a warm hug. Meredy turned to Jellal after they parted.

"Yup this is the one! Oh look at the time, I have to go! Take care Jellal!" Meredy waved and took off running. The door continued to ring as someone else came in.

"Oh they're here. Here go get a coffee, there's one prepared already."

Juvia came around with the counter with some coffee and almost spilt it when she saw Lyon sitting at a table.

"Lyon-senpai?"

"Juvia?" Lyon was sitting down at a table with supplements ready to be taken. Juvia placed the coffee in front of him, casting curious looks his way.

"Supplements?" Lyon sipped his coffee popping iron and calcium supplements into his mouth after.

"It's what I take everyday. I have meetings often so no time on my hands to dilly-dally." He said with a goofy smile. Juvia's mouth curved negatively as what he said settled. Juvia pretended to roll of her sleeve and lifted her arm as if she was going flex.

"You know Juvia is not bad at cooking! If you like Juvia ca-" Lyon stood up from his seat and loomed over Juvia. His hand came into her cheek as he said, "You should be more confident. You are in the special class." With that he waved a flustered Juvia a goodbye, surprisingly walking away without any injuries.

"You done drooling? I need you to deliver something." Jellal's voice snapped Juvia out of her trance, her turning around quickly.

"Juvia wasn't drooling!"

"Whatever you say, miss. Dorm 254, Gray Fullbuster." Juvia took the order without any further questions or banter. She made her way to the dorms, thoughts running through her head.

Gray did say he was sick. Is he alright? Should Juvia do something special?

She knocked and the door opened to reveal a practically naked Gray. Only his boxers were present, his toned body completely revealed. The order flew into Gray's hands as Juvia rushed to back away.

"G-G-G-GRAY-SAMA?!?" Gray's face looked drained of color as he realized Jellal wasn't the one bringing his order.

"JUVIA?"

Blood rushed to Juvia's head as her eyes rampaged Gray's exposed body. As she felt blood rushing to her nose, Juvia jerked her head back to prevent the flow. Instead of helping the situation, what she did worsened it since Juvia forgot she was pressed against the hallway wall. A bump formed on her head as she became dizzy and collapsed. Blood soon leaked from her nose as Gray rushed to her side, yelling, "Juvia!"
