"I'm sorry but I have to use the kitchen!" Juvia marched into the kitchen, determined to prove herself. Gray followed her, gathering ingredients by her side.
"Was that true? The gang stuff?" Gray whispered curiously as he rummaged in the cabinets.
"More or less. Juvia was in a gang, yes. Juvia was referred to as the rainwoman, that is true. But Juvia thinks people don't understand what the Element Four is. Juvia wouldn't call us a gang. More like a tiny family."
"That beat up people." Juvia shook her head at Gray. She didn't expect him to understand with his fanily issues, whatever they may be.
"Here, Juvia!" Gray epically threw a potato at Juvia. Girls squealed and it reminded Juvia that they weren't alone.
"Well are you going to make it or not?" Cana snickered, Lisanna next to her with her arms crossed.
"Well duh!" Juvia responded. She stuck her tongue out at them and stuck up her middle finger. It really silenced them.
Soon enough, Juvia had gathered all the ingredients she needed. Gray walked away and watched with the group of critiquing teens. They all watched as Juvia expertly prepared the dish.
"Wow. She can really cook." Gray commented.
"But she can't make it! My uncle works at a four star restaurant! There's no way it'll taste the same!" Lucy whined, Gray scowling at her in return.
"We'll see." spoke Lyon. Lucy gasped as he appeared behind her, pouting at the amount of interest he had in Juvia.
"Woah!" exclaimed Meredy as she pushed her way to the front to see what Juvia was doing. "You made the potato turn pink!"
"And for the finishing touch!" Juvia reached for the special sea salt on the high shelf. A breeze of cologne stuffed Juvia's nose as Lyon emerged to reach it for her. He sniffed her hair smoothly as he reached. Against his luck, Juvia's knee hit the wrong spot as she moved to guide his hand.
"Uff-" Lyon hunched on the ground as Juvia used him as a stepping ladder for the salt.
"Sorry!" Juvia slipped away as Lyon groaned on the floor. She sprinkled the salt.
"Ready! Judges?" She mocked as she dumped the dish in Cana and Lisanna's hands. Everyone exchanged skeptical looks as they tasted it.
"Woow! It tastes just like Lucy's!" Gasps were heard all around as Lucy's jaw clenched in the background.
.
Juvia wandered into the cafeteria, a plate of cupcakes in her hands. Only the chefs were there since they were preparing for the students.
"Please let Juvia help out here!" She offered the cupcakes to the main chef but he shoved her out of the way.
"We don't need any kids here. The students will be coming here anytime now! Shoo!" Juvia was dumbfounded as he pushed her out of the kitchen. She saw a glimpse of Gray and made a run for it.
"Gray-sama!" Gray turned, his nose obviously red.
"Have a cupcake~" Juvia offered and Gray answered with a huge sneeze.
"Juvia, you should stay away, I'm catching a cold." Gray said as he backed away. "I don't have much of an appetite right now. Save me one, okay?" And then he took off, leaving Juvia.
"So She is trying to woo Gray." Cana spoke from afar.
"Winning him with food... such a faker!" hissed Lisanna. Once again, Lucy stayed quiet.
Those Love Rivals are just jealous! Juvia thought as she started walking away. Wait, Love Rivals? Focus Juvia, can't get distracted! Must find fae-
"Juvia?" Juvia turned to find Lucy looking at her.
"Oh! Hi Lucy." Juvia continued walking as Lucy joined her. Juvia offered Lucy a cupcake that she took with a smile.
"I saw you before. You want to work at the cafeteria?"
"Yes but they turned Juvia down." Juvia pouted as she slouched along.
"There's another cafeteria you know! Jellal's Diner! Or was the name Mystogan?" Lucy looked up in wonder, Juvia's hope returning.
"Jellal's diner? Juvia will go now!" Juvia took off in the direction Lucy pointed her to.
Lucy snickered as she threw the cupcake Juvia gave her into nearby bushes.
"Idiot."
