𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐒.Hawk,Miguel,Tory and Aisha entered the living room.Hawk had beer in his hand.Arthur sighed.The others smirked.
"What you guys wanna watch?" Asked Arthur.
"Horror!" Tory and hawk agreed.
"How about a romance?" Arthur and Aisha asked.It was down to Miguel.
"How about..10 things I hate about you?" He said. Arthur and Aisha nodded eagerly and Tory and hawk nodded too.After the film was finished,Tory and Arthur were the only ones up.
"So you kissed Miguel..?" Said Arthur quietly.She nodded.
"What about us Tory..?" He said looking in her eyes.She sighed.Tory had hoped this question wouldn't come..
"Me and you Arthur..we weren't meant to be..maybe if id had met you first.."
Arthur Leaned in and kissed her."It's okay..i can wait." He smiled.Tory stared at him.
"Arthur..i..I can't.." She choked out.He nodded and pulled away.
"Like I said..I can wait.." He sighed and looked away.
"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞?" Tory looked at him..
"𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮." He replied.
𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐋𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐏..Arthur lay wide awake when he heard someone coming down the stairs."Mom?Alex?" He stood up and saw his big brothers friend,Harvey,He was a young kid with brown hair,tired eyes and he was small.
"Hey Harvey..you slept over huh?" Arthur looked at the young boy and he nodded sheepishly."I missed you lil man." Arthur smiled and gave him a hug.
Harvey hugged him back."Hi Arthur.." He said quietly.Arthur looked at the bruise on his eye..
"How did you get that..?" He asked..his tone was 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭..for once.Harvey looked at him..
"Some..some um kids at school..like to pick on me..it's pathetic." He sighed.Arthur felt a rise of anger at his words.
"You should join cobra Kai.." Arthur asked Harvey stared at him..
"The karate dojo..?"Arthur nodded.He heard another person come down the stairs..Alex.His older brother.
"He's not joining cobra Kai" said your brother firm."Sam told me about that place..she said that Kreese is a psychopath."
"Of course you listen to her!" Arthur snapped..the others jolted up right on the couch.He looked at Harvey..who had covered his ears."Oh Harvey..I'm sorry lil man I.." He looked as the kid backed away."Harvey.." He reached out to take Harvey's hand but he took more steps back.Tory and Miguel looked at each other..why was Harvey scared of Arthur..?
Alex grabbed Harvey and pulled him into an embrace.."Shh shh I got you..I got you.." he soothed Harvey..Arthur stared.. "It's okay..Arthur won't hurt you..you know that.." Alex whispered in his ear."Okay Harvey..?" Alex looked down at the kid,his eye were red and puffy,he nodded slowly.
Tory whispered to Aisha."What do you think that was all about..?" Aisha shrugged.Hawk stared and so did Miguel.
"I'll..see you tomorrow.." stuttered Arthur and Alex and Harvey went upstairs.Tory stared at him.Hawk finally spoke up.Arthur waited for him to speak. "What was that about?" He looked at Arthur.
"Harvey..he's scared of people raising their voice..or physical touch..unless it's hugs from close people." "He had a rough childhood..that's why I think he should join cobra Kai.!" Arthur protested. Hawk nodded."Yeah but it seems like he's isn't going to join anytime soon man." Hawk placed a hand on Arthur's shoulder.Arthur shrugged him off.
"Dont." He said sharp and quick.Hawk pulled away.Arthur hated physical touch,unless it was Harvey or Tory.He grabbed his blankets and the others settled down.Arthur checked the time.
𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐀𝐌. 04:00.He sighed and put his phone down..eventually falling asleep.The next day,Elizabeth smith was at the kitchen bench making breakfast.Hawk slowly woke up and saw Arthur helping his mom.Harvey came down with Alex..talking about guitars,music."Hey Harvey..sleep well?" Asked Arthur.He nodded..slowly..but it was still a nod.The others woke up.Elizabeth smiled kind and soft."What do you guys want for breakfast..I have pancakes,cereal or toast." Miguel and Aisha wanted toast.Hawk and Tory wanted pancakes and Arthur grabbed a bowl of cereal. "Hey mom,you seen my pills?" Asked Arthur.She shook her head."They should be in the bathroom." She replied.The others looked at each other,Arthur was taking meds?,what for?.Tory followed him up.He rummaged through the cabinet until he saw the bright yellow prescription bottle."Got it.." Suddenly,Tory hugged him."Why are you on meds Arthur..?"
"I..have..anger issues..it's hard to control.." He sighed at her."I'm sorry for kissing you last night,you and Miguel..you're a great couple.." She nods. "We're still best friends right?" She looks at him with wide eyes.He nods and grabs the medicine. "Hey,who do you think stole mr miyagis medal aswell?" Tory questioned.Arthur shrugged. "Maybe hawk,he's been growing fond of sensei Kreese..and he's been pretty on edge lately."She nodded and headed downstairs.
The others leave..Arthur heads up to his room.Harvey knocks and enters..only to be met with a high Arthur and the smell of weed."Hey Arthur?" He says quietly and small.Arthur looks up,even if his head is fuzzy,he let Harvey in.Hes watching 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐒 on Netflix."Whats the matter kid?" He looks at Harvey.
"About those kids at school I..I'd like to join cobra Kai..just for a little bit.to learn how to defend myself you know?" Harvey said.
"If that's what you want I'm sure you can join." He replied.Harvey nodded and left Arthur to watch Outerbanks and get even more high.
