Space. Quiet. Empty. A vacuum of tranquility. Many stars decorated its backdrop, each a sun with a world and, perhaps, a civilization. One such world is that of the planet Earth.

At the edge of Earth's solar system, an object appeared on the horizon. A space vessel with the appearance of a metallic-winged dragon. The Warmonger Aliens' command ship.

Sitting at the ship's throne was Martarcon, the leader of these aliens. An imposing figure, clad in armor made from his enemies and a cloak of red. He appeared mostly human, but his skin was dark gray, and his eyes were burning red like two hot coals. Emerging from his otherwise bald head were two spiraling horns, each one glowing with the embers of his destructive element of fire. Resting in his hand was his staff, an ever-burning ball of flames dancing at its head.

Beside his master's right hand stood Cyberned, Martarcon's robotic bodyguard. Made entirely of metal, his single green eye scanned his surroundings as Weedies, the idiotic green henchmen who grew like weeds, hurried about the control deck. The robotic warrior held a special sword at his belt, but his hand was never far from it.

Walking up to Martarcon was Venomella, his betrothed. Like her fiancée, Venomella was mostly human. Her pale white skin almost seemed to glow in the dim light of the ship, and her dark makeup gave her the appearance of an intergalactic vampire. She wore a stunning orange and black dress that matched her crown, made of the skull of a Crypt Dragon she had slain with her venomous abilities. Her long fingernails seemed to steam orange from the poison she used as nail polish.

"Sire," Dr. Gearroid, the cyborg engineer for the ship, said as he limped up to his master before kneeling. Clad in green armor, with a metallic skull that glowed with yellow eyes, Gearroid was once of alien flesh, but after an accident that had occurred when he created Cyberned, he was left in critical condition, never to live without the aid of his armor.

"Speak," Martarcon said in his oily voice.

"We are nearing the atmosphere of a planet that did not appear on our radar," Gearroid said. "Coordinates are galactic longitude 100 degrees and galactic latitude 0 degrees."

"What ssssslimeball of a planet did you bring usssss to?" Serpenight, the dark snake-like creature who commanded the armies as general, hissed as he slithered up to the two Weedies who manned the helm. His amber eyes glared at the planet with anger. His giant battle ax rested at his back, awaiting its master's scaly hand.

"Earth," Martarcon whispered as he saw the planet on the scanners aboard his throne. "What a pathetic planet."

"It shall be ours soon, my love," Venomella said as she rubbed her husband-to-be's shoulders. "We shall make this planet known to the rest of our allies once we recreate it as our kingdom."

"Indeed it shall," Martarcon answered. He then addressed Serpenight and said, "Send a squad down. I want this planet."

"Yesssss, sssssire," Serpenight answered. "I promisssse that thisssss planet shall be oursssss."

Leading a squadron of Weedies, Serpenight guided them into the nearest village of the land named Japan. Many of the locals screamed in horror, calling Serpenight a demon and his Weedies agents of the underworld in their native language. Serpenight hissed a laugh. These pathetic life forms stood no chance against the might of the Warmonger aliens.

However, his laughter died when five Weedies sparked and fell to the earth. Confused, the serpent slithered up to them and found five small projectiles, shaped like stars, and made entirely of metal. These strange weapons appeared to be sharp enough to cut through the flesh of the life forms of this planet.

"Come out!" Serpenight shouted to the otherwise empty streets. "We know you're there! Face the might of the Warmonger aliens, if you dare!"

Just then, five shadows dropped from the shelter of the rooftops. They were all clad in black and glared at the creatures in front of them through masks that hid all of their faces. Strapped to their backs were strange one-sided swords, but they didn't reach for them.

Reaching inside their robes, the five warriors, who were known as ninjas, then pulled out five strange coins made entirely of gold. The bottom half of these coins had no detail, but etched in the front of each were five different skulls of prehistoric beasts.

With a grunt, the five ninjas flipped their coins in perfect unison. As they flipped, the coins began to glow. The warriors then captured the flipped items. As they did, they became engulfed in blue, yellow, red, green, and pink light.

The night was dark and Serpenight couldn't see them well, but he could've sworn that the five warriors had changed after that flash of light. Reaching behind them, the five Japanese heroes drew their blades and charged with a yell.
