Chapter 2

As Rose was making her way back to the main hall, she heard the Duke on the way.

Duke: "I wonder where I might find the next little rabbit."

When she arrived back at the hall, the Duke and the zombies were no where to be seen.

Rose: "They're gone. Where did they go?"

She didn't know where they disappeared to but she took this chance to get the crystal inside the lamp. Rose stepped closer to the statue to try get the crystal but the lamp was locked.

Rose: "Great, now what?"

She looked at the statues and saw that almost all of the faces were missing something. The last statue on top was wearing a mask. Rose also found an opened book next to it.

It reads 'The disciples await their masks. Bronze, Silver, Gold. With their garb arrayed, the light shall be released.'"

Rose: "I guess I need to find these masks to unlock it."

Rose started searching by trying out the doors behind the stairs. She entered a dining room then found a shotgun in a cabinet which was locked. It looked like a certain key was required to open it.

She tried the doors that lead outside next but it was chained.

Rose: "Does everything have to be so complicated to get?" She was starting to get annoyed.

She noticed that the glowing words appeared on the wall.

Wesker: "Looking for keys are a pain, aren't they?"

Rose: "Yes they are." She sighed, annoyed.

She went to the door that leads to the kitchen and started to look for anything useful. A zombie was sighted and was making it's way towards Rose.

Rose: "Great, another one of these things."

She used her pistol at it and killed it after firing a few shots. When the room was clear, she walked to the end of the door and found bolt cutters next to it.

Rose: "Thank god, they weren't more of them."

She didn't think could last going against a group of them at once and she didn't have the ammo for it. Rose walked back to the dinning room and found Wesker's words again.

Wesker: "Get over here."

She walked towards the words, wondering what it wants.

Wesker: "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this."

Some handgun ammo appeared on the table.

Rose: "If it's dangerous going alone, maybe you can help me. Back me up against those things."

Wesker: "Not how the strategy guide works."

Rose: "Is this all just a game to you?"

Wesker: "No comment."

Rose was annoyed by that response.

Rose: "So, I'm on my own aren't I?"

Wesker: "Pretty much."

Rose: "Great." She groaned.

She used the bolt cutters on the doors and she opened them. As she entered the courtyard, Rose spotted something in the middle of the area.

When she got closer, Rose found a statue with a mask on it. It was one of the three masks she needed. However, the statue was too high because of the mold.

Rose: "How..."

Wesker: "Mask too high."

Rose: "I see that. But how am I supposed to get it?"
