Choso stepped into the house, the door closing with a soft thud behind him. He took a deep breath, relieved to be home, but before he could even take off his shoes, he was greeted by the curious eyes of his brothers."Yo, Choso," Yuji called out from the couch, glancing toward the window where y/n's car had just pulled away. "Did you finally find a someone who can tolerate you? Who was that girl? She's, like, super tiny. She looked like a kid compared to you."
Kechizu, who had been slumped on the armchair, leaned forward, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, we saw her drive off in that tiny car. She looked short... like, really short."
Eso, always the quiet one, looked up from his book, his brow slightly raised but staying silent.
Choso rolled his eyes, letting out an exasperated sigh as he tossed his coat onto the chair. "It's nothing," he muttered, walking past them. "My car broke down. She just gave me a ride."
Yuji laughed, leaning forward with a playful grin. "You? Getting a ride from someone? That's new. And she didn't seem like your type at all."
Choso stopped in his tracks, recalling the ride. Y/n's constant chattering had been like background noise, but not the kind he was used to. She had gone on and on about random things, her brothers, some childhood stories, and her day, all while he had barely said a word. She hadn't even noticed his irritation.
"She wouldn't shut up," Choso grumbled, rubbing his temple as if the memory of her voice was still ringing in his ears. "Talked the entire time."
Yuji smirked, exchanging a glance with Kechizu. "Bet you loved that," he teased, unable to hide his amusement.
"I hated it," Choso snapped, his patience wearing thin. "But my car wouldn't start, and I didn't have a choice."
"So, why didn't you just tell her to zip it?" Kechizu asked, barely containing his laughter. "You're usually pretty good at shutting people down."
Choso shot him a glare. "She didn't listen. I told her a few times to focus on driving, but she kept talking. The whole time," Choso confirmed, his voice heavy with irritation. "About everything. Her brothers, the fact she didn't have a license, yeah, you heard me, no license."
Yuji sat up straight, wide-eyed. "Wait, what? She was driving without a license?"
Choso ran a hand through his hair, feeling the frustration build again. "Yeah, figured that out halfway through. So I took over."
"That explains why you were driving her car," Kechizu mused. "But still, without a license? Man, that's bold."
"Bold? Try reckless," Choso corrected, downing a glass of water. "But whatever, I drove the rest of the way. She's not my problem anymore."
Yuji leaned back, crossing his arms with a grin. "Sounds like you had a real fun night."
"Yeah, sounds like she's just what you need," Kechizu added sarcastically. "Someone who doesn't take the hint."
"Shut up," Choso shot back, though a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips despite himself. He grabbed a snack from the cupboard, trying to focus on anything but the nagging thoughts about y/n.
"So, are we going to hear more about this girl or what?" Yuji pressed, leaning closer with genuine curiosity. "Does she have a cute laugh?"
"Stop," Choso said, rolling his eyes as he grabbed his phone. "I'm not here to discuss my non-existent love life."
"That sounds like something out of a rom-com," Kechizu said, chuckling. "Next thing we know, you'll be telling us you're in love."
