"Of course this would happen." Peter thought, watching Ned bounce excitedly beside him. It was a surprise field trip for the decathlon team to celebrate their wins. Everyone was pumped, and for once, Flash was completely silent, just in shock.

In front of them, in all his glory, stood Steve Rogers, not as Captain America, but in his casual clothes.

"You guys from Midtown are our first guests." Rogers' smile was bright, his gaze locked on Peter, sparking curiosity among the others. "This is the new exhibit 'Avengers: A New Path.' After the blip, we needed a museum to tell the stories of the new great heroes."

Rogers started walking, and the students eagerly followed.

"Do you think they made a section for Spider-Man? That would be awesome!" Ned joked, grinning like it was the best day ever.

Peter adjusted his backpack, feeling a bit uneasy. "I have no idea. Maybe there's something about me? I don’t know."

"Quiet down, boys!" the teacher shouted, and they both quickly replied, "Sorry!"

"As I was saying, we’re showcasing heroes who played key roles in the fight against Thanos and who will represent the New Avengers." He stopped in front of a glass door. "Go on in."

Peter was speechless. Huge screens showed videos of heroes in action, there were statues and origin stories everywhere. The students were buzzing with excitement, but Peter stood frozen.

There was his original suit, made from a hoodie and diving goggles. His first web-shooters. Videos of his early battles. While some heroes had just a brief blurb, Peter—Spider-Man—had an entire section dedicated to him.

"Why me?" he wondered, stunned.

"Because at just 16, you jumped on that ship and fought. You defended not just our planet, but an entire universe." A familiar voice broke through his thoughts, gently touching his shoulder.

It was Tony.

"Mr. Stark?"

"Hey there, kid!" All eyes shifted to them.

"Oh my God, it’s Tony Stark!" a student exclaimed.

"What are you doing here, Tony?" Rogers asked as he approached.

"Relax, I’m not here to steal your spotlight. Just needed my intern." Stark said, giving Rogers a nod.

"Intern?" Flash piped up from the back.

"Peter Parker, obviously." Tony replied, even though he didn’t know who had asked. "Let’s go, Peter. We’ve got stuff to do."

And with that, they left the exhibit, leaving no room for interruptions.

Peter was confused. "Why are we at the Avengers’ building?" he asked as they got out of the car.

"Just come on." Tony smiled, leading him out of the garage.

"But I need to know what’s going on!" Peter protested.

"Nope, you’ll find out when we get there." Tony interrupted, stepping into the elevator.

Peter’s anticipation grew. He imagined all sorts of possibilities. Surely it wasn’t anything bad; Mr. Stark wouldn’t be so upbeat if it were.

They stepped out of the elevator and arrived at a private floor. Tony stopped in front of a door. "Ready?"

Peter nodded, excitement building. "What is it?"

Tony opened the door, revealing a simple but potential-filled room. It was one of the nicest spaces Peter had ever seen. "This is your new room."

"My room? Here?" Peter was stunned. It was everything he could dream of: a comfy bed, a work area, and an amazing view of the city.

"You can crash here after long hours in the lab or after training." Tony explained, looking at Peter with a grin. "Or whenever you want. You’re always welcome here."

"This is... amazing, but why all this?" Peter asked, trying to wrap his head around the generosity.

"Because I want you to feel at home." Tony hesitated, his expression turning serious. "You’ve been through a lot, and honestly, you’re a big part of what we’re building here."

Peter felt a wave of emotion.

"Tony... thank you so much." That was all he managed to say.

His gratitude left him momentarily speechless. He barely noticed he called Mr. Stark by his first name, but right now, it didn’t matter.

The hug caught him off guard, and suddenly it was Tony who was feeling emotional. He was glad to have Peter in his life. He didn’t want to think about what it would’ve been like if he had lost him.

"Come on! Morgan can’t wait to see you."
