Unexpected Love

CHAPTER 1: THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

The first thing I notice when I wake up is how cramped my legs feel are. Then I remember where I'am, stuck in a barrel cause our boat was heading toward a whirlpool. I hope someone finds us soon I'm getting hungry and sore. I'll try to fall asleep again.

I hear Luffy screaming and I jolt awake feeling my legs hurting. I look up and see three men standing around us. Oh look there's one on the floor, four men is it.

'Luffy can you help me get up please?' 'Sure Luna, here take my hand.' I feel pins and needles in my legs and feet, it hurts bad. 'Who the hell are you guys?!' Luffy asked. I stretch my body and pop my back while they start to argue. 'Who the hell are you?!' They screamed us. "Your friend will catch colds sleeping like that.' 'You're the one who knocked him out!' The one with the tattoo on his left eye hold a sword at Luffy. 'Hold it are you messing with us when you know good and well that we're vicious pirates?! Huh?! 'I'm starving you got any food?' He asks a pink haired kid. 'I'm talking to you! The tattoo one yells. They get ready to chop him up with their swords, But Luffy easily broke them. They ask who he is. 'Me? Oh...My names Monkey D. Luffy Hi!' They start screaming dragging their friend with them.

The pink hair kid asked on his hand and knees, 'So...what just happened?' 'You got me.'Luffy asked. I try to walk but it hurts too much and just end up falling on the floor. 'Hey Luffy can you please carry me I lost feeling in my legs.' Giving him puppy eyes. 'Yeah sure hope on.' He kneels in front of me. On his back we hear. 'Quick! You've got to run! If those guys come back here with their buddies, then they'll kill you on the spot! I look at him, 'We don't care about that. We're hungry.' 'How can you just blow this off like that?!' There are hundreds of them up on deck and they're waiting for the opportunity to kill anything!

We start to walk away when the kid tries to stop Luffy by pulling his arm. But I smell food not just any food 'APPLES' one of my favorite snack. We walk through the door that is the storage room. Sweet! I jump off of Luffy and go for the first crate where I now there are apples. We start chowing down. 'Uh...Hey! My name's Coby! And you're Luffy, is that right? That was pretty neat when you jumped out of that barrel back there. I didn't get your name though.' He looks at me. 'Oh my name is Monkey D. Luna, I'm Luffy's sister. Nice to meet you!' I give a closed eye smile. Coby blushes and kneels behind Luffy.

'So are we on a pirate ship or what?' 'No... it's a passenger ship that's being raided by pirates, pirates under the command of Lady Alvida. 'Aw, who cares anyway? What I wanna know is if there are any boats on board.' 'I think there are a few.' 'Great, cause Mine got sucked into some big whirlpool.' 'The one outside? No way! No one could have survived that.' 'Yeah! I gotta say, it was a big surprise.' 'Shut up Luffy! We've could've died back there.' I said. Standing up ' I'm going to look around. You ok on your own here Luf? 'Sure go have fun and see if you can find a map to the Grand Line.' Sure thing Luf.' I go through rooms and find nothing worth taking. While wondering around I saw an orange haired girl looking around. Well she 'doesn't look suspicious'. Not caring what she does, I continue to look for a map of the Grand Line.

Not having any luck I decide to go back to Luffy. But when I go back to the storage room they're both gone and the ceiling has a huge hole in it. Hearing ruckus outside on the top deck I run for the noises. I see Luffy fighting with Alvida's pirate crew. I want to jump in but it looks like he's got it under control. I see the orange haired girl again but at Alvida's ship taking her gold. She see's me and sweat drops from her head. I wink at her and wave at her to go giving her a smile. She smiles back and winks backs too. What can I say girls got to stick together right. Alvida is too distracted by my brother to notice. ' Go on tell me.' 'You're the most ugliest thing on the sea!' All the men are shocked with their Jaws hanging down almost touching the guard rail. Alvida's eyes are completely gone. Coby shaking in fear, Luffy laughing his ass off. I giggle trying not to draw attention to myself. Coby and her are arguing, raises her club in anger she tries to kill Coby. But Luffy takes the hit on his head chuckling at her. 'That won't work.' 'What' 'I'm rubber!' And stretches his arm saying Gum-Gum Pistol hitting Alvida off the ship. 'Hey you!' He tells the crew. 'Go find a boat and give it to Coby. He's leaving your ship to join the Marines; you're not gonna stop him.' He said to them. 'Uh... yeah, sure!' Thanks Luffy.' Cannonballs fall from Marines ships, we book it to the boat and jump on. I cut the the ropes and we fall fast. I hear a girlish scream, look for the source I see the orange hair girl again. Her and Luffy make eye contact. Awwww love at first sight! Another cannonball falls and we sail away.

After sail for a few minutes Luffy asked Coby a question. 'Right. And that's why I need an extra-strong crew. You guys mentioned some pirate hunter. So what's he like, Coby?' 'Oh, you mean Zoro? Last I heard was that he's being held prisoner at some Marine base.' He said. 'Oh well a weakling, huh?' 'No you're so wrong! He's as violent as a demon, and three times as horrifying! Why are you asking about him anyway?' Luffy chuckles with a smile. 'I figure if he's good enough I'd ask him to join my crew!' Coby gasp. 'Chasing him down is just plain reckless!' 'You never know. He might jump at the chance to join me! Luffy said. 'He's a bad enough guy that the Marines caught him! No way not a chance! Forget it no no owww! Why you'd hit me?' 'Cause I felt like it.' I shake my head laugh. 'Oh hey Luna did you find the map?' 'No Luffy sorry I didn't.' 'It's fine we'll find one in no time. I have a feeling we'll find it soon.' 'Whatever you say Luffy.'
