Chapter 2: THE DEMON

                        Luna pov
The next day we're still sailing, Luffy in on the bow the of the boat. Saying how gorgeous it is. Coby is saying, 'As long as we can stay on this heading, we should reach the Marine Base in no time at all.' I look at Coby he has pretty good navigation skills. It's a shame he does't want to be a pirate. Oh well I have a feeling we'll find a good navigator. The boys were talking among themselves, I was playing with flowers in grew on my hand. I was bored so I put my feet in the water and looking in the water. 'You know, there's really nothing to be so giggly about. Because at the Marine Base...they're holding the great pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro. This the man who's diced up his bounties like a an animal bent on carnage, a blood thirsty beast. He's been called nothing less than a living, breathing demon in human form.

'We're here! The Marine Base city! I get out and stretch my arms over my head, looking around and see venders everywhere. Luffy and Coby are a head and Coby is trying to convince Luffy not to look for Zoro. 'Luffy, seriously you're out of your mind if you think the right thing to do is get this guy to join you.' 'Well, I haven't made up my mind yet. I gotta see if he's a good guy.' He's imprisoned because he's obviously not!' Luffy picks up a pear and takes a bite and flicks and berry at the lady. 'Hey, is that Zoro around here somewhere?' I jumped when everyone else jumped. What the hell was there problem, scaring me like that, Assholes?! All of their faces are in shock and whimpering. I whisper to Luffy. 'Hey Luf maybe we shouldn't ask about him, they might call the Marines on us for asking questions about Zoro. Why don't we go straight to the base instead. I bet we'll have better luck looking for him ourselves.'The nods his head as we continue to walk. 'Besides Coby wants to be a Marine right.' Coby continues to talk about hows he's not ready to be one just yet. But when he brought up Captain Morgan, the villagers jumped and got scared again. Luffy and I started to laugh together. I wasn't scared this time. 'That was odd I mean, I understand if they're scared of Zoro. But why did they flip when I mentioned the Marine Captain's name? I don't know...I've got a bad feeling about this.' Coby explains his feelings. 'Maybe they were all just jumpin' around for the fun of it.' 'I don't think so Luffy, they had a look of pure terror.'

We are standing in front of the base gates. Coby starts to cry about going our separate ways. I look at Coby and go give him a hug and kiss on the cheek.' We'll miss you too.' I said with a smile. 'Where's the foot hole?' 'Luffy get down from there, Someone might see you!' I look up and grow vine from the ground up and start to climb. We look over and see a man with a green bandanna and a green haramaki. A little girl climbs a latter and runs to him. Coby starts to freak out. She offers him some rice balls, so sweet. 'Whaddya want? 'I thought you might be getting hungry now, so I made you a couple of rice balls.' 'You got a death wish, kid? Just scram.' 'But you haven't eaten anything the whole time you've been tied up. Here! I've never really made them before.. but I did my best, so I think they're fine.' Listen, kid, I'm not hungry! Now stop irritating me, and get outta here!' 'But.' 'Do not make me kick your ass, little girl!' The side gate opens and three men walk in. Two are marines and one looks like a civilian. 'Now, now, no one likes a bully. Roronoa Zoro, you seem to be handling this well. Don't you agree?' I listen to Luffy and Coby as they talk. I continue to watch and see what happens. The purple suit guys takes the little girl's rice ball and eat's it. A look of disgust shows on his face spitting out the rice. Crying about sugar and not salt. He grabs the other one and steps on it. Next thing she's in the air screaming in terror. I use my vines to catch her and set her down. 'Are you alright sweetie?' She on the verge of tears clings to my stomach. Coby walks over and checks her out. I get up and look over the wall. He looks bad, so I jump over not waiting for the boys. Getting a better look at him. He blushes. 'Who the hell are you?'

                        Zoro pov
Who is this girl, no ones been able to sneak up on me for years. I don't like nor do I trust her. My gut tells me to keep my guard up. 'My name is Monkey D. Luna, and you're Roronoa Zoro. You don't look like a demon, more like a weak little man.' What! 'Shut up! You don't know what you're talking about. I have more spirit than you'll ever know. I will get through this.' I said. She leans closer to me. I can smell her, why is she so close? Her eyes are pretty and her hair. I've never seen such a color on a person before. It's the brightest purple I've ever seen. What the hell am I even thinking, being out in this heat with no food or water is getting to me. Making me think about stupid stuff.
