"Oh she does that all the time."
"No way, really?"
"Really really."
Jungkook and Irene followed me around throughout the party room. It had been a few days and I couldn't stop thinking about the party over at Gold Touch. I mean, it's not my place, but I just needed to know if this was something to be aware of.
I went behind the bar and gave Jungkook his task. "I've tried to tell her to knock it off but," Irene sighed, "She keeps claiming that as long as she doesn't get caught, it's okay."
I scoffed. "Well she was sloppy last night." Sitting down at a stool. Irene and Jungkook gave each other a glance before going back to what they were doing. Before I could say anything, Irene changed the subject on me. "Heard from the grapevine you went on a date with Taehyung?"
I almost fell out of my stool with such a statement. My went wide and my mouth gaped. "What the hell are you talking about?!" I whisper yelled, looking around to make sure no one around to hear the false rumor.
"I heard it too" Jungkook added nonchalantly. Irene sipped on her drink as if all she said was her father had a cold. He continued "Good thing he get out though, I'm sure they're breaking up as we speak. Better be at least."
"Wow you guys are real rude! Why would you want that?!" I said frustratingly. I saw Irene about to speak and immediately cut her off. "And no! No date! Just breakfast! He asked me." I crossed my arms to stand my ground.
Irene rolled her eyes. "Damn it..I wanted drama.." she mumbled under her breath, causing me to glare. Suddenly, the doors busted open. We all whipped around to see Bianca and Taehyung with Yoongi and Namjoon behind them.
The friends had big smiles on their faces while the couple had forced, tired smiles. "Hey everyone!" Namjoon called out.
The three of us glanced at one another before dropping what we all had. The two groupings hugged one another. When I hugged Bianca specifically she whispered, "we need to talk outside". I gave her a slightly confused look when in actuality I was scared shitless.
We walked out of the room and closed the door, leaving us in an employee only area. She crossed her arms and had a neutral look on her face. "So you went on a date with my boyfriend hm?"
The panic immediately went to my face. I sped, "Bianca I swear it wasn't a date it was just breakfast I don't know who claimed it was a date but it wasn't re-"
"Oh I don't mind." She said bluntly, cutting through me. "I mean, was it a date?"
I looked at her strangely. "No? Wait wha-"
"Damn it..." she whispered before looking to the ground and placing her hands onto her hips.
The hell?
We were quiet for a moment, mainly cause what the hell do I say to a girl who's up her boyfriend didn't go on a date with another girl?
"Hey," Bianca finally stated, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a wad of cash. "I need something for you."
She began to count the cash. "This Fridaaayyy... I need you to take Taehyung out." She smiled up at me quickly. "And keep him out until 2am."
Bianca grabbed my hand and plopped $200 cash in. "You can do that, right? For a girl friend? You must know some great places to keep you entertained."
"Bianca what the hell are you talking about?!" I looked at her shocked. "I can't take this money! I'm not taking him out! That's cheating, I-I don't roll with that stuff!-"
She rolled her eyes. "Relaaaxxx~ it's not cheating if I know you two are going out. Plus there's money involved! It's a win win! I get a good night, he gets a good night!"
"Bian-" We heard the door suddenly open, making Bianca shove the money towards me and me hiding it behind my back. Taehyung poked his head inside and smiled tiredly at the two of us. "You guys okay in here?" He asked.
Bianca smiled brightly. "Yeah! Just asked her about a restaurant I'm thinking of going to soon."
Taehyung nodded in understanding. "Hey, you mind if I talk to Y/n?"
She nodded and kissed him before the two switched positions, now leaving me with a wad of cash behind my back and Taehyung in front of me.
He let out a sigh and paced his hands in his pockets. "She didn't try and bite your head off, right?"
I let out a nervous chuckle and held the cash tighter. "No no, not at all. Just talked."
"So about that rumor-" He began, causing me to tighten up.
"You heard about that too?!" I whispered yelled. "Oh my god I'm so sorry Taehyung I would've never agreed if I-"
"Relax relax," he chuckled. "I don't know why or who started that rumor. I told Bianca that it wasn't a date at all." I let out a sigh of relief as he continued. "I just...You know... I just wanted to tell you that if you thought I was flirting or if you took that as a date, please understand I'm in a relationship and I don't want to go hurting my girlfriend."
"No, no, no I'd never want to come between you two" I began. "Really I didn't take that as a date, I thought we were just being coworkers!"
He smiled. "I'm glad you understand...but just know I count you as a friend, not just a coworker, okay?"
I chuckled and nodded. "Understood sir." He smiled and opened the door, making me follow him.
As we walked back to the group, Bianca looked over at me. She smiled but I could see in her eyes she was nervous. I flashed the wad of money from behind my back and placed it into my front pocket. The minute she saw, Bianca eased up and continued conversing.
There's no way I was going to deceive Taehyung. No way. And there's no way I'll be apart of Bianca's plan....right?
