The walls, lined with intricate blocks, rise up like the steps of a grand staircase. The gallery stretches ahead, illuminated by the torches they hold, which casted dancing shadows, enhancing the drama of this awe-inspiring space.
The corridor narrows as it ascends, but the sight is breathtaking—the stones are perfectly cut, each block fitting seamlessly with the next, as if they were crafted by divine hands.
At the end of the Grand Gallery,
Monisha: "We have arrived, at the imposing doorway of the King's Chamber."
They all stepped in,
Nick: "The chamber feels sacred"
Edla: "Almost alive with history!"
Alicia: "These still no sign of any radiation or signals"
Its walls, made of massive red granite, glimmer faintly in the dim light. In the center lies the great sarcophagus—an enormous block of granite, its surface smooth and cold. It stands as a silent sentinel, waiting to embrace the soul of a long-departed ruler.
They all stood and took a moment to absorb the atmosphere. The air was thick with the weight of millennia, as if the very stones are imbued with the spirit of the pharaohs. The flat ceiling, supported by gigantic granite beams, looms overhead, creating a sense of grandeur and majesty.
Nick: "Some say that they can hear the distant echoes of rituals once performed here, sacred ceremonies that linked the earthly realm to the divine."
Monisha: "Yeah!" "But I have never heard it myself"
Alicia: "Sis!" "Can I try sitting on that chair?"
Edla: "Maybe later!" "We have a lot to discover"
Alicia replied "Okayyy" with dissatisfaction.
