Rayna POV...
I walked into my office after a long day of work. I now owned my own fashion company. My mommy was my co-owner. I turned my buzzing phone on and looked at the notification and saw that my tenth high school reunion was coming up. I rolled my eyes and locked my phone. I got back to doing my paper work.
When I got home Braelyn, my daughter, she was four years old, jumped into my arms.
"Hey babes." I said
"Hey babes." she repeated after me
"Hi Ms. Gladis how was she." I said
"She was fine." my permanent babysitter said
"That's good." I said "I went and put your money in your account." I said
"Ok thank you." she said
Braelyn has had a baby sitter since she was a baby since I was kinda too busy, and her dad wasn't in her life (its not Collin will be revealed later) but I tried my hardest to always have time for her, Ms. Gladis was just a back up plan when I was at work.
"Alright you want to go out to eat it's Friday." I smiled
"Ok." she said "Can we get nails done after." she said
"Yes babe we can do all that go get your shoes." I said "And I am going get dressed." I said
"Want to race." she said
"Yes." I said
"Ok ready set go." she yelled
I ran my slowest and let her win. We went to Friday's, and then to get our nails done.
Braelyn definitely was going to be spoiled, if she wasn't already, she loved to do everything I did except getting her eyebrows done I didn't allow that. But when it came to shopping, going out to eat, getting her nails done she was definitely like me but she was also smart so as long as she kept that up I don't care about doing whatever she wanted.
Jason POV...
I woke up. I looked at my phone and saw it was almost twelve I had twenty missed calls from my baby momma. I called her back.
"What up." I said
"Where the fuck you been Jason." she said
"Man I was sleep I about to get in the shower and come over there." I said
"Alright hurry the fuck up." she said
I got out of bed and went into the bathroom. I got myself together and got dressed. I headed over to over to my baby momma's house to to pick my daughter up for the weekend.
"You better be lucky I let you see her bitch the least you could do is be on fucking time." she said answering the door
"Man move out my fucking way." I said pushing pass her
"Don't put your fucking hands on me." she said following after me
"Shut the fuck up Jas." I said
That's right my daughter was by Jasmime my old high school girlfriend. Three years ago we met up in a strip club and I took her home with me. Then she came and told me she was pregnant. Even though I wished that day didn't happen I love my daughter Seanna.
"I got shit to do." she said
"So why is she in her pajamas still your lazy self couldn't get her dress and you better stop cussing in front of her." I said stopping at the kitchen to see Seanna eating an watching Dora on her iPad with ear phones in.
Thankfully she didn't hear none of it.
"C." I said loud so she could hear me
She looked up at me.
"Hi daddy." she smiled really big
She came and hugged me.
"How your week been." I said
"Good I got a boyfriend." she said
I looked over at Jasmine and she shrugged.
"We will talk about that later." I laughed "Let's go get you dressed." I said scooping her up
I took her up in her room and saw her outfit already put out for her.
"Daddy I already washed up." she said
"Well you need to rewash your face." I said
"Ok." she said
She went into her bathroom and I heard water running. I looked at the pictures along her wall of her and Jasmine, I swear Jasmine was a lot of things and one of them were a good ass mother.
"Where is she." she said
"Washing her face." I said "Why didn't you tell me about her ballet recital." I said
"Cause you said you were busy." she said
"You know I wanted to be there for her." I said
"Well you said you were busy and I invited Dominic anyway." she said picking up toys and clothes off the floor
I instantly got heated. I wasn't jealous of Dominic, Jasmine's boyfriend, just didn't like him at all he was always around Seanna when I wasn't and I hated that.
"Next time just tell me." I said
She rolled her eyes.
"I am not going beg you to be in her life Jason if you busy that's the end of it I don't need nor want you around so when I ask you what you doing a day its obviously about Seanna." she said
"Ok." I said trying to contain my anger since Seanna was in the next room
"Ok daddy I am ready." Seanna said coming out the bathroom
"Alright baby." I said
