Rayna POV...
"Mommy are we not eating breakfast today." Braelyn said
I opened my eyes and looked at her standing next to my bed.
"What time is it Braelyn." I said
"Um it's almost eleven." she sad
The last thing I wanted to do was wake up today. It was the day of my reunion.
"Go get your over night bag babe and put it by the door." I said sitting up
I went in the bathroom and started her water. I called my mommy and she said she be on her way in about an hour. I had an hair appointment and I still needed to get an outfit for tonight. I got Braelyn's outfit out for today and went to make her something to eat while she was in the bathroom.
I made a breakfast omelet and some chopped fruit.
She came downstairs and sat down to eat.
"Ok Brae you going out with grandma be on your best behavior and call me if y'all need me." I said straightening the kitchen
"Are you going be ok here by yourself." she said asking the question she always asked
"I think I will manage." I said
"Well call grandma if you want me to come home." she said
"I sure will babe." I said
I grabbed a paper towel and wiped her face.
My mommy came exactly when she said she would and they left. I left to start this day.
I was dressed and ready to go. I admired myself in the mirror once more and left to head to the place the reunion was being held.
"Hello Rayna." a woman said
I turned around to my old highschool buddy, Mariah.
She hasn't changed at all just her hair was blonde instead of brown.
"Oh my gosh Mariah." I said hugging her
"You look so cute." she said
I had on white dress that had a v cut off that went from my neck line and stopped at the top of my belly button, and some white red bottoms and my was freshly colored dark honey blonde and black. I had my hair iron out with curls on the bottom.
"You too." I said
Mariah was wearing a white dress that stopped at her knees. The bottom was like an umbrella so it was out wide and her sides were cut out so you could see her perfect curved body, and some wedges.
"What do you work at the gym." I joked
"I became a trainer and a health teacher." she said
"Are you serious I was joking." I laughed
"Well you guessed right." she said "I am so happy to see you though." she said
"Me too so Ms. Teacher do you have any kids." I said
"Yea I have Angela and Maya." she said "Five and three." she aaid
"Aww I just got Braelyn but we should get together for a play date." I said
"Most definitely actually I go to this mom group every week there are some funny people there." she said
"I don't think that's for me." I laughed
"Well at least promise me you will try it all the admission fees go to Riley Hospital." she aid
"Ok." I said
"Yay I get two dollars off for bringing you." she said clapping
A dancing song finally came on and we made our way to the dancefloor.
The night was so fun and no drama I see everyone has really grown up in ten years. I was happy.
"Call me." Mariah yelled as we went our separate ways
"Ok." I said
I got in the car and took off my shoes my feet were tired and swollen. I laid my head on the steering wheel saying a quick prayer. I drunk one margarita and I was very tired so I just wanted to get home in one piece.
Someone knocked on my window and I picked my head up. I was too amazed at who I saw.
Jason POV...
I had just got to the reunion and it was nice most people were in all white. I had on white Levis, a white button up shirt, and some red and white Jordan's. Jasmine was matching me with a simple white strapless dress, some white red bottom heels and her hair was in it's curly natural state.
We walked over to where most of the old basketball players and cheerleaders were.
"Oh my gosh the power couple." one of the girls said running up to us hugging us
"What up." Jasmine smiled
"How you doing babe." she said
"Girl shit." Jasmine said
I walked away. I didn't really fuck with no one from high school.
I decided to go ahead to the bar and drink.
"Thought you could get away that easy." Jasmine said sitting next to me
"I guess you not dedicated to poor lil Dominic no more." I said
"Tonight I am all yours." she said
I bit my bottom lip and she smiled.
"But no sex." she said
"Well get your ass on my lap and start dancing." I said
She did as I said and got on my lap and started giving me a lap dance.
The night went very smooth me and Jasmine made out a few times it was like I was back in high school.
When I got back to my hotel room I changed out of my clothes into some basketball shorts, socks, and my slides.
I was going be here alone all night. I ordered room service and a movie. I was half way into my movie when there was a knock on the door.
I went to answer and Jaia barged in.
"Oh my gosh." I said closing the door
"Where she at." she said looking around the room.
"Jaia what the hell." I laughed
"Where's Rayna why you not getting it on." she said
"What are you talking bout." I said confused and drunk
"You went to the reunion right." she said
"Yes." I said
"Rayna graduated in your class.." she said
"Oh shit." I said
"Yeah dumb dip." she said
"I didn't even see her." I said
"How not how many people were there." she said
Like three hundred." I said "And me and Jasmine were together all night." I said
She smacked her forehead and layer on the bed.
"I will go over her house tomorrow." I said
"I bet you will hopefully you don't let that bitch block you from what you should really be worried about for the next ten years again." she said talking about Jasmine
I sat on the bed and took a breath.
"Damn." I said
