"I was hoping you did." Sighed my best friend, Yuki
"Huh? Why-"
"All the girls complain about him being annoying, a pick me, attention seeker and all the above. I wouldn't be surprised if you cheated on him or dumped him. Why did you even stay with him?"

"For his money. Duh." I said with no hesitation
"I know you good enough to know you wouldn't do that." Yuki scoffed
"Yeah yeah.. you're right."

"So what was the main reason you stayed with him?" Yuki now asked the real question

"Im desperate for love. My life's been too lonely and I'll take the bare minimum.. I MEAN- you're in the same situation as me." My eyes darted to Yuki
"Maybe I am. But I don't chase for red flags unlike you." Yuki shrugged

"But like the other reason why I stayed with him is because I'm scared of boys and am too scared to talk to them.. I usually wait for them to confess to me."
Yuki took in a sigh and crossed her arms
"You're hopeless."
I rubbed my head looking away

The door to the classroom opened and then came in the teacher
"Class' starting now, let's talk after." Yuki put a hand on my shoulder before leaving to her seat
