1:42pm"Stac!" Dylan shouted from her kitchen. A moment goes by with no response. "Stacie!" Nothing. "Oh my days." Dylan mumbled to herself while shaking her head. She walked away from her dark marble bench top into her bedroom to see her best friend past out in her bed.
"Stacie." Dylan said. She looked around waiting for the blonde to get up, wondering why she was still asleep at midday.
"What?" Stacie groaned.
"Get up." The older girl replied.
"No."
"Do you wanna go back home?"
"No, your bed is comfy." The blonde praised the brunette girl's bed spreading her arms out as far as they can go, giving the bed a 'hug'.
"I love you, but you need to get out of my house." Dylan smiled.
The girl lying down pushed herself to sit up and she just stared at the brunette.
"I hate you." She rolled her eyes. Stacie stood up and walked into the bathroom. A minute or two later she walked back out with brushed hair and a smile on her face.
"Ready?" Stacie asked.
"Uh yeah, one sec." Dylan replied.
The inseparable pair walked out of Dylan's room together and the brunette drifted off to the kitchen for a second. She grabbed her phone then placed it in her pocket.
"Hey I left my bag in the car right?" The older girl asked.
"Yeah, you did." Stacie answered.
"Oh okay."
They walk to the front door then Stacie opened it. The two walked out side by side then Dylan shut the door, locking it. They walk to the black Benz that sat on the brunette's driveway.
Dylan sat in the drivers seat and started the car with her keys while Stacie sat in the passenger seat.
As the music started to play on the radio Dylan scrunched her face to the sound.
"Treat me like a queen, now you got me feelin' thrown, oh. But I can't help myself, when you get close to me. Baby, my tounge goes numb-"
She had enough before she pressed the little Bluetooth button up in the corner of the screen.
"Hey, I liked that song." Stacie pouted.
"Aw, that's too bad." Dylan sarcastically pouts making Stacie give her an irritated look.
The older girl looked down on her phone and presses Spotify.
"No phones while driving dickhead." The blonde in the passenger seat snatches the phone out of Dylan's hand. "We could crash you know."
"Whatever." Dylan rolled her eyes annoyed with her best friend's action.
Now it's not like Dylan not liked the girl who sung that song, well she didn't even know who wrote it at the time. It's more so she's listened to that song about fifty times that week alone, constantly.
She'd walk into a coffee shop, "Think I only want one number in my phone" She'd walk into any store, "Might change your contact to don't leave me alone" She'd just be walking along the street and someone would be humming the lyrics to that song.
I think it was fair to say that Dylan hated the song. She believed it was overplayed.
Eventually, the Benz stops at an apartment building in the city. Stacie got out of the car and just stood there holding it open.
