My heart racing, I turned the paper over, searching for more.
No other words, just blank space.
I glanced at the book, wondering if this was a page from it.
But the paper seemed different, heavier.
A faint scent of leather and smoke wafted from it.
Intrigued, I brought the paper to my nose.
The aroma transported me to a dark, mysterious world.
Asher's world.
A shiver ran down my spine.
Was this really a message from my fictional crush?
Or was someone playing a clever prank?
I looked around the room, feeling a sense of unease.
The window creaked, drawing my attention.
Outside, darkness pressed against the glass.
The wind whispered an unsettling melody.
I approached the window, hesitant.
A figure stood just beyond the streetlamp's glow.
Tall, imposing.
Blue eyes gleaming in the night.
My breath caught.
Asher?
Impossible.
My vision blurred, the room spinning uncontrollably.
Questions swirled in my mind like a maelstrom:
Did I truly communicate with the Devil?
Did I really summon Asher from the book?
How could a fictional character become real?
It defied logic, reality.
I grasped my hair, frustration and confusion overwhelming me.
Suddenly, darkness encroached upon my vision.
A faint whisper echoed in my mind:
"Your wish has been granted, Moon."
Everything went black.
My knees buckled, and I crumpled to the floor.
The last thing I remembered was the sound of my own heartbeat.
Then, nothing.
Silence.
Darkness.
Unconsciousness.

I opened my eyes to find myself surrounded by vibrant roses, their sweet fragrance filling the air. This was the same place.
Where was I?
This wasn't my bedroom.
A soft voice whispered behind me, "I brought you here."
I spun around, my heart racing.
Asher Blackwood stood before me.
His chiseled features took my breath away:
Piercing blue eyes, sharp jawline, enticing lips.
Those lips.
I couldn't help but stare.
"Asher!" My voice barely above a whisper.
He smiled, his eyes crinkling.
"Yes, my Blue Moon."
My heart skipped a beat.
"You wished for me," he said, his voice low and husky.
"I'm here for you, only you."
His gaze intensified.
"But now, my presence is in danger, my love."
Love?
He called me love?
My soul fluttered.
Asher's eyes clouded with sorrow.
I stepped forward, my hand reaching out.
"I'm sorry!" I exclaimed.
"I didn't think... This can't be real... Just a dream."
Asher's gaze locked onto mine.
We drowned in each other's eyes.
The world around us melted away.
His ocean-blue eyes held mine captive.
Time stood still.
In this moment, nothing else existed.
Just us.
"It's not just a dream," Asher whispered, his breath warm against my ear.
"It's me, really me, only for you."
My heart soared.
"Whenever you think about me, I'll come for you."
His words sent shivers down my spine.
Asher's grip on my wrist tightened, pulling me closer.
He enveloped me in a fierce hug, his chest pressing against mine.
All doubts, all fears, melted away.
In Asher's embrace, I felt home.
My face buried in his chest, I inhaled deeply.
His scent, leather and smoke, filled my senses.
"Mine," he whispered, his lips brushing my hair.
"Forever."
I wrapped my arms around him, holding tight.
This was real.
Asher was real.
And he was mine.
