Twenty year old Elodie Presley sits in her living room, blue eyes staring at the red blinking light of her camera that she has situated on the desk in her bedroom of her small apartment. Having grown from an aspiring documentary maker to actually being one, she should be used to cameras. Growing up with a father who will forever be the King of Rock and Roll, she doesn't have a choice. But talking about your parents’ untimely passings and knowing the whole world was going to see it was rough.

On the one year anniversary of her mother’s death, she realizes how the loss still has her in a chokehold. But she has to do this now. She knows they would want her to.

They would be proud.

Inhaling a deep breath, Elodie straightens her shoulders, forcing herself to keep her voice steady.

“What you’re about to see is a film about my parents, Elvis Presley and Y/N Presley. The motivation to make this film was for an assignment I had to do in order to graduate, but as we all know, my father passed before he could see me finish college. I decided not to use the film for my class and keep it to myself for my own personal memories. But now, I feel like I owe it not only to them but to the fans to share their story. A lot has been written about my Mom and Dad by people who think they truly knew them or by people who have never even met them… They deserve better than that. Their truth deserves to be out there and they would want me to share this with the people who loved them. Who still love them. Because I know they still love you too. And I will forever and always defend my mother and father, because that’s what they did for me too. I hope when you watch his film you’ll see and feel how much they loved each other and the people around them. I hope you will love them as much as I do by the end of it. It’s what they deserve.”
