Chapter 3

It wasn't until over a week later that a letter from UA arrived. For obvious reasons you couldn't put your actual house as the mailing address so you were forced to use a public mailing area which was over a 20 minute train ride from your house! You begrudgingly entered the almost empty train and plopped down on the first seat you saw. You were so bored! For the past week all you had done was laze around your house and walk around the city. At this point you were going to go insane from lack of social interaction! You huffed and began to glance around the train, the only two people that happened to be on the train was an old lady who was quietly reading a book and the pro hero Kamui Woods. You remember this one incident were you were dressed up as an old man to prank people and they sent him out to try to contain you (spoiler you got away). So maybe talking to him wouldn't be the best idea. You take another glance at the old lady and decide to make your way over to sit next to her.

"Hello my names Azira Akine it's nice to meet you!" you smile brightly while bowing towards the older woman. She looks startled for a moment before responding.

"Hello dear my names Youko Mayumi it's a pleasure to meet you, was there anything you needed?" She questioned while softly placing her book down.

"No I just wanted sone company and you looked like you could need someone to talk to as well" you smiled sitting down beside her, you then realized that may have come off a little rude. "Not that i'm saying your lonely or anything it's just everyone needs company and- sorry.." you begin and then awkwardly trail off as the lady begins laughing

"No no, your fine dear it's been a while since someone has willingly made conversation with me just to talk with me and I have to admit it does feel nice" she chuckles while glancing around "unfortunately this happens to be my stop so I have to take my leave but it was a pleasure meeting you".

"Oh okay! I hope you have a good evening!" you smile once more as the two of you exchange goodbyes and she exits the train. You can't help but feel slightly disappointed because your futile attempt at social interaction didn't even last three minutes! You glance over at Kamui Woods once more only to see him staring right back at you!

"Do you need anything sir?" you politely ask while turning to face the pro hero.

"Have we met before? You seem awfully familiar." He questions while he continues to examine you. Your quite shocked that he has any recollection of you especially considered you were all disguised as an old man. The more you think about it the more you realize he can't be talking about that encounter there's literally no way he could have recognized you!

"I'm sorry I think you may have the wrong person" I smiled sweetly.

      "No I could've sworn.." he sighed as he trailed off "never mind sorry to bother you".

      He then looks away and then goes back on his phone. You think for a moment for what he could be talking about then it hits you. Beside from that time you dressed up as an old man you also ran into him one time and had a very VERY embarrassing encounter. One you NEVER want to think of again. Please. Your face suddenly flushes incredibly red and your so thankful that the bus had just arrived to your stop as you quickly scurry off the bus. You resist the urge to literally sprint to the public mailing area, and with your best judgement you walk at a brisk pace towards the area. Once you arrive you basically tear into the mailing compartment and pull out your letter. Fortunately the only other people in the building are an old man with a young kid so you decide to just open your letter now. When you open it a singular gray disk falls out that starts to show a projection.

      "CONGRATULATIONS AZIRA AKINE FOR YOU HAVE MADE IT INTO UA HIGHSCHOOL!!!! With a total of 96 points, 54 from villains and 42 from rescue, you have achieved first place in the exam!! Yes rescue, you heard me! There was a secret component to the examination which includes giving points for heroic deeds performed. Your performance in taking down the 0 pointer was incredible and would have helped save the lives of many people, thus you have been awarded 42 rescue points! Further details about your classes, uniform, and costume are inside the letter. We are thrilled to help you become the inspiring young hero we know you can become!" Present Mics loud voice echos throughout the now empty building even after the projection was done.
