Krit posed the question to Mumu, asking if he could hide his own ears. The cat-boy looked at him, his expression a mix of determination and confidence.
Mumu gave a small nod, as if to say, 'yes-I-can'
Krit observed Mumu intently, feeling a mix of curiosity and skepticism. Could Mumu really hide his ears somehow? The cat-boy stared back at him with a sly expression, as if daring him to watch closely.
Krit didn't want to miss what would happen next. He leaned forward slightly, watching Mumu with all his attention.
As Mumu closed his eyes and concentrated, to Krit's utter surprise, the cat-boy's ears seemed to slowly disappear, receding into his scalp. The once prominent cat ears simply vanished, blending almost seamlessly into his hairline.
Krit's eyes widened in disbelief. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. He quickly leaned in to examine Mumu's head more closely.
"Damn," he muttered under his breath, still trying to process the sight. "How did he do that?"
Just as suddenly as they had vanished, Mumu's cat ears popped back out of his head again, springing back into their original position.
Krit, who had just been mesmerized by the disappearing act, couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. "Looks like you can't keep them hidden for too long, huh?" he teased Mumu. How can he left any chance to tease Mumu.
Mumu huffed in frustration, clearly determined to hide his cat ears as best he can. He closed his eyes once more and concentrated, trying to keep his ears hidden. but it was the same result - the cat ears would disappear for a moment, only to pop back out a few seconds later, betraying his efforts to keep them hidden.
Krit couldn't help but smirk at Mumu's failed attempts. "Seems like your hiding skills need some work," he commented, trying not to laugh.
But now, they needed a temporary solution to cover Mumu's ears. He looked around the room, thinking of what they could use to keep them hidden.
"Hm, we need something small and inconspicuous," he mused, his eyes scanning the room. "Maybe a hat or a headband, something like that?"
Suddenly Krit remembered something from his room, he dashed into his room from living room, leaving Mumu sitting in confusion, his head tilted to the side. Mumu was clearly bewildered by Krit's sudden absence and couldn't understand what was going on.
A few minutes later, Krit reappeared, holding something in his hand. He was grinning slightly, a hint of excitement on his face as he approached Mumu.
As Krit returned with the mystery item, Mumu was staring at him with a look of 'what-the-hell-you-upto-now' on his face. The cat-boy's expression was a mix of curiosity and mild annoyance, as if he was wondering what Krit was up to now.
"Don't look at me like that," Krit said, trying to sound serious but a hint of amusement crept into his voice. "I have something that will help hide your ears."
Mumu still looking a bit wary, watched as Krit approached him. Krit sensed Mumu's hesitation, extended what he was holding so Mumu could see it more clearly.
It was a black beanie. Jake held it out towards Mumu,"Look, this should do the trick," he explained, a hint of a smile on his face. "Just put it on, and your ears will be covered."
Mumu looked at the beanie, then at Krit, and then back at the beanie again. He seemed hesitant but also intrigued. He still seemed reluctant to trust Krit completely, but the thought of hiding his ears was appealing.
Krit held out the beanie, waiting for Mumu to take it. "Go on, put it on," he encouraged.
But Mumu was still somewhat reluctant, continued to look at the beanie, his expression unreadable. Krit realized that he needed a little more convincing, said,"Trust me, it'll do the job. Just try it on. If you don't like it, you can take it off."
