Dark Marked Lies

Chapter 2

I was awoke by a bright beaming light entering my room

Am I dead?...

I opened my eyes and see my farther

"Wake up peach you start Hogwarts today" he said in a cheerful tone

I groaned loudly and buried my face in my pillow, trying to block out the light

"Your uniform is at the end of your bed we are leaving in an hour" he says while picking up dirty washing off the floor and leaving

I turned over and faced my door so I wouldn't be blinded by the sunshine coming from my window

I got up and rubbed my eyes and sat on the edge of my bed for a minute contemplating getting up

I turned round to see folded black robes and my skit with my black converse placed neatly on top, typical of dad I smiled

I got up and headed to my bathroom and took a shower, after I got out I brushed my teeth and started my makeup. Even though I wasn't happy about moving school I still wanted to look good

As I was half way through my makeup doing my water liner my door swings open, I jump and almost poke myself in the eye, I stormed out my bathroom into my bedroom to be greeted my the most delightful thing alive...

Creature

"Omfg Creature you almost made me paint my eyeball black, can you please knock next time" I say frustrated look down at him

He quietly mumbled something under his breath

"Pardon?!" I say now getting annoyed

"Sorry ma'am creature lives to serve the noble house of black"he says plainly while continuing dusting

I roll my eyes and grab my uniform and head back into the bathroom to get changed and finish my makeup and fix my hair up with a claw clip

After I head down stairs to meet my dad in the kitchen. I giggle slightly when I see him in a apron standing by the stove

"What?" He says with a confused smile

"Nothing dad you look great" I say smile giving him a peck on the cheek

I sit down at the table as my dad comes over with oven mitts on holding a pan with pancakes

"How many do you want?"

"2 please dad" I say looking at his whole get up with a smirk trying not to laugh

"Okay I cut up some strawberries in a bowl and the Nutella is on the table" he says placing 2 pancakes on my plate

As he wanders back into the kitchen, he stops at the fridge and grabs the carton of apple juice and pours a glass, and brings it to the table

"There you go peach" he says placing my glass on the table and giving me a kiss on the forehead

Peach is a name my parents gave me as a baby because when my mum was pregnant with me, they went for an ultrasound and the doctor mentioned I was curled up in the shape of a peach

After breakfast me and my dad got ready to leave, he grabbed my arm and apperated to the station. A week ago me and my dad headed to hogsmead to get my school supplies my favourite part was getting my owl, I love him because he looks just like my fathers only mine has green eyes (I got a black great-horned owl)

As we successfully apperated to the platform my dad gives me a hug and holds on tightly

"Right last minute checks you got your books?"
